Mike and I used to fish out of the same Bass Club in Norco..IEBMHuntington harboroh the memories. I am curious if I know him.
He got away from the bass trny stuff cause his girl was in school and softball....so that touch up all his time.. she got a free ride..well nothing is Free....but alot of help for college cause of it...
I know a ton of people in the salt world also....bbd.com

As a 20 year recovering addict please allow me to say I am so very sorry. Anything else would just be noise.
I will say an extra prayer for the addict who did not get as lucky as I did.

My Heart truly hurts for you! You are still Dad! I am sure you did all you could and still feel like you have failed because your child is dead.
As one who has inflicted lots & lots of pain on the ones I love through my addiction; I never stopped loving my Mom & Dad, I knew that what i was doing hurt them (stealing their meds, alcohol, money, personal property... etc, etc, etc.) but the pain I was fighting was stronger. When they banned me from their homes, I knew it was for my own good and still I did not stop.
Addiction is an ugly, ugly animal; and most unforgiving. We have a saying in recovery "... addiction without recovery ends in jail, institutions or death" I got lucky.
Celebrate the day by remembering Jessica before she became an addict, pull out the old photos & watch the movies. That person was still there, just buried under layers, and layers of shit that she and no one else really understood/understands.
One day soon you will smile when you say her name and\or smile will just appear on your face at the thought/sight of something she would have done.
Happy Fathers Day is a bit too much; so I wish you Peace in whatever form you find it useful.
btw; I have two grown daughters 27 & 30 and cannot imagine them not being here.

Our condolences. As a fellow off the grid kind of guy I get it. Lost my son a year ago March. Seems like the ghosts are more real in the woods. Chin up papa. She's smiling down on you or right by your side.

ya she wasn't happy with life really ... said she would never be a mom....
she end up having a son... witch is with his grandparents on his side.....
I was going though probation, for my bs..... and there was NO Way I could Get Him........
she was happy and was trying to get it together and there was some hot stuff that hit where she was and she just got some of it.... there was 11 deaths for H.. in a 2 wk time frame form it....
It really messed my 2 other girls up but there getting better........................
Like I said Everything Happens for a Reason.....
and again TY all ..............................
