new guy here .. i am going to call this grow car-jack . why? because i found the seeds in my car . jack!

background .. so ive been elsewhere and have been told countless times i am wasting my time . i hope things go better here .

this is going to be a budget grow , there will be zero money spent because i have zero bucks to spend , advice is welcome because i do not know what i am doing .
if your advice involves spending any money , keep it to yourself because i cant use it .

4'' exhaust fan
chinesium kingled light
one light timer

3-4-4 to start seedlings
strive 2 part . i have no way to test ph so fingers crossed .

first pic the two bigger seedlings came from my first germination attempt , the five smaller seedlings are from the second attempt .

second picture are two that came up helmet headed , i think they may make it . i had a hard time getting them free


my goal ... two fems

soil grow , cheapest potting soil wally world had and 25% pearlite .

the seedling on the far right was the worst of the two who came up with a helmet . its making it but is not happy. probably just going to cull it in the next few days .
a couple of the others are kind of getting a bit leggy . maybe i should lower the light a couple inches ?

continuing on with the i dont really know what im doing theme... watering . i tend to want to water more then i should .
to help avoid this i keep a cup with dry dirt in the tent , it gives me a easy comparison between wet and dry ... no guess work

Open some vent panels or something you exhaust fan is sucking the walls of your tent in...

oh yea lots of drainage , so you caught the tent being closed .. thank you . i had an inside vent flap open and forgot all about opening the outside flap.
thankfully the light doesnt make much heat on the veg setting .

everything is moving along nicely , the bigger ones will probably need watering at next lights on , smaller one all feel good for a day or two yet.

going to start using the strive , fingers crossed .

I don't even have exhaust fans but i got a fan LOL. I run my tent cheap just outside oscillating fan and have all the vents open. And i've had great luck with " bag seed " so keep the good vibes going and treat them well. Sure hope you get some females.

i have a pretty good feeling on this , 7 of those seedlings came from seeds found in a cars ashtray i parked in the woods close to 15 years ago ....

an oscillating fan would probably do me more good then the exhaust fan , maybe i can use some mason line and rig up some sort of scrog net when i get to that point to help support em

opened the tent this morning , the first noticeable whiff of weed hit me . its a nice smell it is .

i did one previous grow with this shifty set up . it was not terrible . about 4 ounces from 2 plants in 3 gallon pots. if i do that again ill be pleased .

everything looks good so far.. better then expected . guess ill have to come up with a plan of some sort and fairly quick at that

i think ive had my light to low... raised it up about 10 inches . and had some droopy leaves . all the droopy plants feel light so ill give them a drink next lights on .

everyone will be drinking strive at full strength from here on out as per the instructions
