so i may have made a mistake that i hope is minor , had to go out of town for a couple days so i set a friend up to water the kids while i was gone . i forgot the tell her to try and keep the water/nute solution off the plants and well .. now have some yellow leaves ...

taking it in stride and moving along they was all long past due to get up potted out of the solo cups , so i did my best guess at sexing and moved the three that looked female to me into 5 gallon pots . i kept the freak for now in a 1 gallon pot , i am about 70% sure its a male but ill give it time to be 100% before kicking it out .

they have been in the new pots for 24 hours now and seem happy enough , how long after the re-pot should i wait to top them all ?

rambling here a little , so anyone please correct me if i go way off the rails here ..

if i understand thing correctly my yield will mostly be based off my light output if i do everything right as the grow progresses .
so i pulled out the clamp on meter and tested my light , it draws 214 watts total . having no idea how efficient the light is ill make a guess that real output is something around 185-190 watts .

my first grow yielded about 4 ounces of nice trimmed bud from 2 plants , that seems to follow along with everything I've read . and if i am right i can expect pretty much the same again this grow .
that isnt a great yield to most of you but id be happy with it again all things considered .

so now im wondering if it would be worth the effort to do much if any lst . excluding the mutant i do not plan on keeping all three plants , just the best two . the third is extra i8n case i made a mistake sexing .

any thoughts here on if my thinking is way wrong or am i on the right track

Sorry to hear that. Glad you and the house are safe. Hopefully, you find a good home for them or a new light.

There's a free giveaway contest for a light. I'm going to link it below. Just follow their instructions. It is really easy. Tag anyone you want, even someone that has helped you on this thread. Just use the @ symbol and type the name, in case you didn't know.

thanks for the condolences , when you live the outlaw life of the uninsured you tend to be on the conservative side of safety . i didn't have my carbon filter hooked up so i smelled it right away . hot smokey smell not withstanding the light itself didn't feel abnormally hot yet , but it had also only been on a few minutes at best .

i have an 80 watt 4ft led fixture im going to hang up for life support , it might be enough to keep the girls alive a few days , cant hurt to try anyways .

i picked up the light and tent from the local outdoor flea market last winter . tomorrow is flea market day . i might go and see if i can come up with something there again .

Oh, man. I hope you do. I don't want to beg you or anything, but those seeds, depending on the age, could be your key to a world that is basically genetically gone from the market.

I'd definitely get any light you have up for them, they are still in veg. Hopefully, you'll be able to kind a better light tomorrow, if you go. If not, hopefully whoever gets them, is able to raise them up and you can sample. Junker strain sounded so good.

I won't get my hopes up. You've already crushed me once when you told me no promises on the runt. 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you. I appreciate that you've never sugar coated anything.

If they haven't been outside, I wouldn't put them out. Unless your outside the US, we don't have enough daylight for them. Everyone that is outdoors now has been in flower for at least a month because of the decrease in daylight. Plus pest and diseases. Trust me, it's war out here.

I will hold out hope and positivity for you and the junker plants. Go enter for the free light. It's just you typing a few words. Worth a chance.

my flea market trip only turned up a tomato , 6 ears of sweet corn some banana peppers and a 10 mm snap on socket . but i believe ive found two out of the four plants a new home . that will only leave 1 orphan , a second opinion agree's with mine that the mutant is a male .

ill try to get a few pics later on of the two if things work out . as to the orphan , im thinking about reading up on cloning , maybe i can take a couple cuttings of it and store them in the fridge just in case a future flea market visit turns up another light in my price range . cant hurt any to try

some good news .. found another crappy light at the fleamarket so the girls are back home again .

the gal on the left is looking like it might be a different strain then the other two , leaves n stem are not the same color . and it is a little spindly looking so i topped it .

i wont be mentioning a brand name for the light but if i had spent retail price for it id be a little mad ... it says 200 watts output but my meter says 94 watts .

anyhow , once the topped plant recovers ill be flipping to flower . my tent is only 5ft

if you look at the picture above , the plant on the left has purple stems on the fan leaves . just the fan leaves .
is that a nutrient issue of some sort or nothing to worry about
