Looking really good man. Your love shows.

That greenhouse is awesome!
Looking Good Caregiverken!! How long do you let your babies soak for? And I love the green house also!! Built Solid!!
Thanks Guys :)
I have left them in water for up to a week. even longer a couple times
.Those were in the water for about 24 hours....I dont know how long is best though...
I just know it helps to let them soak for a bit 1st :)

Hell yeah Caregiver. Sounds awesome, Ive never heard of soaking them for long periods before. Ive heard of putting them in water as your cloning but never just let them soak! I sorta dig it tho. Do you use just plain water or soaking with a little root hormone. Does it delay In rooting if you keep them in there for a week because a lot of my clones would have roots by then and would think it would break them off pushing them into rockwool or rapid rooters? Whatever it is those babies look healthy and happy tho.;)

Sorry bud didn't mean to ask so much... But hell if you ask me they look healthy and id say you know what your doing. The only reason I was asking your technique. Don't get down on yourself we all get into a slump at some point. Well if you've been at it for some time that is. 3yrs Id say you've done it once or twice.lol I've had the same problems with rooting getting harder and harder. Go back 3yr ago what were you doing then? what are you doing now? whats Changed? Probably a lot since 3yrs is awhile. Whats changed in the bad. K.I.S.S Hope it helps and don't get down on your self they look good:cigar:

the bucket cloners generally do not shoot enough water at the roots... Unless they are brand new.
I would go with an EZ cloner.

also check the pH, and make sure the nutrient solution is about 5 EC.

I dip my cuts in Clonex before I put them in the clone machine.

Clones can and will root in water - simple cut the clone add to water (or add the rooting gel - either to the water or clone or solution whichever you prefer) a drop of super thrive and a dash of peroxide and change every few days and most clones will root - the add to the medium of your choice ....

@caregiverken - I personally sucked at cloning when i started - the heat mat dome thing was like 50% success rate at best plus the constant need for attention just added a turbo cloner and i fill the res up to pump level with 6.5 ph water add some clonex solution a drop or two of super thrive b1 and dip clone in oliva's gel and roots in 7-9 days second run and all have been fine actually have roots on the 1 - i forgot to clone in 5 days this morning .... have a great thanksgiving my friend

here's a couple of pictures taken a moment ago... I took the cuttings 10 days ago... the top picture is a Snow Dawg, and the bottom picture is an East Coast Sour Diesel.
I cut my clones at a node at a 45 degree angle so that the center of the node is in the center of the angle.
Then I very lightly scrape the stem with a scalpel (just once), at three points... both sides and along the back where the one side of the tip is the longest.
I then take the scalpel and insert it into the bottom of the stem and make a plus sign... I penetrate the stem about an eighth of an inch (or a few millimeters).
then I dip about an inch of the stem into Clonex gel and insert it into the clone machine.

It helped Me! I was worried that I was cutting too close to the Node
The instructions said 1/4 inch below the node...I have always cut it closer.
.and always wondered while I was doing it.
I used to scrape the stems..and I havent been so Im going back to doing that next time.
Thanks for the Tips! Happy Thanks Day!

Thank you Soserthc1!! Good to know! I keep it simple with the dome and I have good success. Main thing ive figured out is you cant soak rapid rooters or Rockwell all the time. Defiantly drowns them and a lot harder to get them to root. Biggest thing for me because you have to mist the dome but not the rooting med sometimes. I was down on myself one run and wasn't looking forward to cloning because the hassle of fighting roots. Gave them less attention and figured out I was water to much. Faster rooting times and healthier roots. Ive used a bunch of rooting hormones but have stuck with clonex also. Maybe its just the cool blue color.lol jk but seems to work best for me and my style. I agree with Kendog and his techniques. I don't do the plus sign because I push mine into the rapid rooters and Dont want to damage the tip. So I just do one cut to the bottom. The pics are of a pineapple express clone that I wasn't using, a straggler, so its been sitting for alit to long. This is week two for the little girl. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE. Hope everyones eating a good meal with family and friends!:cigar:

Im a cheap bastart and I dont wanna part with the 200 bucks for a EZ cloner..

So spent 3.59 on this air stone and made a bubble cloner :p
And made more cookie cuts
Bubblecloner1130

If I dont get roots in ten days...I will break down and get the EZ cloner

I guess Logic found out I cant clone anymore, so he took away my Mod-ship. :banghead:
That, and I didn't do enough around here :bag: Its cool though, he made me a premium member!
Thanks for that Logic! And thanks for this site too! :)

just an idea if you have a few that are cuts wilting ,well if your ever using rapid rooter type plugs to clone. use a plasic bottle of some sort and cut out a rapid rooter cube holder. Just cut a bottle in half and you might need to cut an extra sliver and discard so the top and botton of the bottle slides into place. The sides of the bottle will keep the cut "propped up". I like to keep the paper labels on to block the light a little and I spray from the top. you can also fill the bottom with water and place on the heatpad. Also you can leve the cap on or off depending how far along you are.
