Ah that's cool man, are you able to store pollen for long periods of time so you can harvest a bunch and use it in the future with other strains? At this point, I'm just chucking pollen to make some seeds. First time I've done it. The rest is all TBD.
The number one watering-related thing that will inhibit branching is over-watering, meaning the roots don't get enough air because the media holds onto water and gets watered too frequently. What you're asking about is how well a point dripper saturates a three-dimensional pot. That's going to depend on the wicking properties of the media.
And for you, what are the main priorities flavour yeild bag appeal or just fun?
That's interesting that over watering can limit branching, my media is pretty good for nutrients and airation but I gave little to no consideration to water wicking properties when planning my soil mix... something to consider for next time
