the water comes out of my tap at 7.9-8.0, so I always have a cup of freshly poured tap to test my pen with before I go messing with the important stuff. sucks that happened to you but think about how HARDY the ones you have left are!

I keep a 20 gal res with a few airstones bubbling at all times so the water i feed my plants never comes straight from the tap. Luckily im not having that ph issue anymore and my headband seedlings are coming along healthily. Usually not much ph-ing is required with house n garden since it usually comes out to almost where you want it if not perfect with no ph up or down added. For me 6.1 is usually just right.
