I had a super duper flattering moment today. The guy that I consider the best grower I know (from a quality perspective), an old friend that has been growing for 20+ years, stopped by today. He lives out of state so we rarely connect. He's never given me anything to sample that was not AAAA. About a month ago I had asked a mutual friend is she had his soil recipe. She didn't but told me he would be in town soon. So we were checking out my garden today and she asked if I still needed his soil recipe. He quickly replied "Nope, doesn't look like he needs anything from me!" It meant a lot coming from him. He's a real deal tin hat kind of guy, so this story is about as close as he'll ever get to the internet.

Thanks again to everyone for sharing what they know here at the farm. It has really helped me understand and connect with my garden in a meaningful way. America, fuck yeah!

Oh yeah, this is a grow log. Looks like all strains are showing visual resin production. Still have a long way to go. See ya. Mmmmmmmmm. Resssiiiinnn.

A homie of mine from MI gave me this sign for the 4th dimension, where it still hangs today. It really is perfect.

Lookin good, OW. Colorado fuck yeah! Im on the road missing my girls, glad I got the farm to look at. It helps the garden sickness and makes it worse at the same time. Man the erb out here in cardinal land, sucks my ass, moldy trim from home is 3x better.

Feel for your man. Hit me up when you are back on the front range.

I'm heading into the 5th Dimension today to do one final leaf strip and super mild lollypop. This of course will be followed by a serious photo shot. Back in a bit.

Just spent some time in the garden and made a disappointing discovery. The bigger of the Mob Bosses, which has been the crown jewel of this grow, went hermie on me. This is the first time it's ever happend. I'm pretty sure it happened because it was to close to the light and the stress caused the hermie. As disappointing as it was, I was psyched that I identified it before it was a problem. This grow has been my best so far and I don't want to fuck it up. Decisively I chopped her. No need to take seed an otherwise amazing garden.

But overall the garden looks good, even after losing two of the girls. I took off a lot of foliage and create a lot of opening for air movement and the formation of juicy nuggets.

Here are the balls on the Mob Boss.

And here she is before the shop. :(

And her stump.

And on the trim pile.

I think you'll agree that everything else in the garden is looking good. Here is the Bubba before and after her haircut.

Here is the OGK before and after.

And the Woody before and after.

And the other Mob Boss, with out balls, before and after.

The Alien Dawgs are so much shorter that I did not trim them up. I will thin out the leaves soon though.

And lastly the trim pile without the Mob Boss hermie.

Thanks, homie. All is well. The AlienDawg is starting to show us what she's made of. Pretty sure she's the CC version. More nug shots to come.

Ahh:mad: . You had to put concrete boots on that Mob Boss...... what a shame. Tony M. didn't make it in the end either, guess it's true to life.
I have a hard time whackin my plants. I think next time I'll hire a hitman to kill all male and hermie plants, maybe one of Sosa's guys.

As you can see above, when any respectable mob boss leaves us, a suitable replacement is waiting in the wings to take over, take their piece of the cut, and own their piece of the neighborhood (or 4x6 tent). More pictures to come. Stay tuned for the next episode.

hello WEST:)
if your 100% sure your BOSS hermied because of your error then you should have taken a few cuts for the next round!!

if you caused her to hermi then she was not a NATURAL HERMIE and her cliping would have been fine...

NATURAL HERMIES===GENETIC MAKE-UP
UNATURAL HERMIES===HUMAN ERROR

also i love your clean up job but my advice would for you to do that duing VEG and not after you have started the flowering process, if your BOSS was fine up untill you cleaned her up then maybe the CLEANING is what caused her to HERMIE ON YOU and not that she was to close to your light??........

i think your best CLEANING job was done on the OGK & WOODY but you need to go ahead and finish the job, draw an invisable line through your plant and remove everything under that line even those SOLO leaves.....

what your doing right now is what i did just this morning with most of my PLANTS im still in veg and will be there with plenty of time for my girls to bounce back from the CLEANING...

now im in no way saying your plants are going to hermie but there is always that chance when ppl go messing with there plants like that during early flowering, all work on your girls need/should be done in the veg stage and then give them time to ajust before going into flower...

and yes i know ppl do the DEFOLATION TECH and say they have no backlash and even have better yields from doing so, to that i say congrats but i would never point some one to do that....

ok last thing you said ALIENDAWG {CC} whats the CC about?
respectfuly:)

I was just about to start the clean up when I found the pollen sacks, so it wasn't that.

CC is my speculation that it is the Cali Connection Alien Dawg. Who knows.

Thanks, Jaws.
