I thinned out some leaves on the bottom of the plant to make it easier to water. These were some fucking monsters.

The P98 BK

And the Mob Boss.

And here is one of the garden guardians, maintaining anonymity behind a P98BK leaf. Her THCfarmer screen name is ShivaSkunkDawg.

Look at the tops forming on the Mob Boss. Truly a thing of beauty. Unbelievably healthy! KEEP IT GOING!

I'm fucking amazed at how good they look. If I'm blessed enough to keep this up through flower things will definitely size up nicely.

Wassup?! Thanks, brother. I can understand where it gets it's name. It is owning my garden for sure.

I'm flattered. Dig the feedback and positive vibes. Lights just came back on. . .literally getting daily progress as we approach what Krasi refers to as 'visual flowering'.

ColoradoChem said it best. . .If patience is a virtue, why can't hurry the fuck up be a virtue too?! (I'm paraphrasing)

Enjoy the weekend.

My garden returns the good vibes in all directions! Thanks, team. I'll do my best. Did a photo shoot today while I fed. The shots show them before they were fed and trimmed. You notice some of the ladies are a little overgrown. They got a serious trim hob. The last photo is the pile of leaves.

All the plants are growing into a real nice V shape. I'm hitting them with foliar tomorrow because I ran out of tea today. I was over watering the AlienDawgs and their leaves were tacoing. Took me a bit to figure it out, but I did not water for a week, then cut back all the tacoed leaves, and the plants are back on track. . .albeit smaller then the rest of the garden. I also seriously thinned out the NL cross. It's like a trufula gone mad. The kushes continue to grow nicely. . . a little leggy with spaces internodes typical of a low yielding kush. My plan for the Bubba and Mob Boss is to seriously thin out all the lower/inner leaf matter to get as much lower light penetration for maximum larf avoidance. I was happy with how it worked out last time.

Perspective is a little hard to judge. The Mob Boss, Bubba, & AD are in 7 gallon pots. The Kushes and NL cross are in 3 gallon pots.

outwest

Here is the Mob Boss stretched 5 inches in 5 days of flower from 24" to 29" I'll be fine if the continues at that rate for a few weeks.

I hear the Bubba is a low yielder. I'm finding that hard to believe by the looks of this plant.

You can see the alien dawg needs a serious haircut, which she got after this photo. Looking much better now.

Like I said, the Kushes are looking very Kushy. Here is the OG.

And the Woody Kush.

Lastly the wily NL cross. Much more tame after this photo.

And the pile of leaves after the haircut.

Happy Mother's Day! I forgot to mention that I think I've got the watering dialed in. The 7g pots are getting 3/4 of a gallon every other day (the alien dawg once a week), and the 3g pots are getting a little more than a 1/4 gallon every other day. I brew tea for every feeding, which is probably over kill, but the plants don't seem to mind. I think it's really helped them avoid nute burn and flourish in the super soil.

Thank, TH! I flipped the Bubba and Mob Boss at 24" so I'm thinking she'll really chunk up nicely. With my next feeding I'll start adding the banana manna.

I think I've left out that I've been using CoCo Cat with every watering as well. It's kinda like an organic super thrive. . .super potent, and super cheap. I liked the banana manna so much on my last run that I decided to try the CoCo Cat out. They are both made by Tropical Organics.

subbed....good stuff. Gave me some good ideas.

I decided last night that I am switching to soil less media. I am tired of fighting hydroton for the moment. I think that no matter what, if you put clones in 4x4 Rockwool cubes, and then in a flood table with hydroton your root growth becomes a limiting factor. The Hydroton dries out much faster than the RW cube so the roots outside the RW in the H'ton suffer from that. Even covering the table does not help. Then the hydroton stays moister but i think it will affects gas exchange from the roots during respiration with lights off. I think that CO2 gets trapped under the flood table cover along with whatever other gases might be under there from a number of different interactions going on. Anyway, thanks for this diary, very complete and informative.

Unspoken rule of my thread: If you quote Sabbath, you have to include some YouTubeage. Don't think I didn't catch that SweetLeaf you posted. In all seriousness, she continues to blow me away. Flowers are starting to form, and we are on our way.

Thanks for stopping by, feedback is always appreciated. I'd love to better understand how my 100% organic grow gave you ideas for your coco/hydroton grows.

Thanks for stopping by. The fun is just getting started. More photos to come.

That's all for now. The ladies are resting, but I gave them a nice tea foliar tea application earlier. Tomorrow is feeding time. They never seem to mind.

Sorry, you had posted in another thread that I was checking out about using air pots and looking at how this guy made a cool scrog and you mentioned this journal and to come check it out in your post. So I ambled over here and got caught up in this one and forgot to go back to the other one before I posted that....long day man. I think is was Medijuana's. He had a tent LED scrog, and I liked the way he had made his scrog screen with pvc and plastic coated wire, and i got all that stuff on hand.....so, anyway, sorry about that....

Not that this isn't good stuff, that's why i forgot where I was, totally got into every page of this. Plus I haven't made up my mind whether to just go with soil and hand water and you kept pretty good track of dialing in your watering schedule and amounts, so i will definitely remember this one. Plus I have thought many times about just putting smart pots in my flood tables and going dtw with organic nutes. Many times.

I have to decide on whether to go with Coco/perlite or a Soil less mix. Besides that is when using Bennies gets really interesting. I have to do something. I had a hell of a time with fungus gnats, I got 'em about beat but they did get some root rot started on my clones and I am not going to lose them. So I have been looking up a whole lot of grow diarys for ideas on the easiest way to go from where I am now, with what I got on hand into a medium that will make the best use of Caps Bennie Tea. I have taken clones before with root rot and for some reason they are not that hard to rehab and get into full recovery in soil, and I figure the same would apply with coco, just need to make a decision on it. I just know if I put my clones, all 70 of them in like normal, which are flood tables, hydroton, and chem nutes, I won't be able to get them to recover anywhere close to as much as I want them to recover. I am sure I can beat it in soil cause I have done it before, but going to hydroton with those big 4x4 RW cubes makes it about impossible, even using teas etc....

so i am rambling...lol
