nice read and real healthy plants here, this al capone cut ^^ of yours look really amazing i read the whole thread in the last half hour nice to see so healthy conversations, dont worry about the lil nuteburn on some of your plants they seem healthy overall so they will dev adjust to the supper soil btw good job on the 1/3 suppersoil in the bottem of the pots and the top dressing also seem legit continue to go this road and you will love it^^ oh yes btw mother and clone chamber, thumbs up for that. You will never know what critters could possibley come with a clone from someone you dont know personaly (even then i take them with coution and give them a good drench in a soap sap just the plant not the roots) so i wish you much luck with your 5th dimension and also the 4th^^

Gave them another watering tonight. . .ACT as always. Now that we are a week into flowering, I'm throwing banana manna into the mix. That should kick the stench into overdrive. Speaking of stench, the kushes are really starting to turn up the funk. We want to funk! Gotta have the funk!

The alien dawgs and bubba kush are already showing nice flower clusters. What's really interesting is how the plants responded to their FIM job. Some I FIM'd once on every top, some I FIM'd every top, then FIM'd all the new tops that came out. Those that got FIM'd twice are more leggy, longer internode spacing, and less developed flowers, but lots more flowers with good light penetration. :)

Here are the Mob Boss ladies. You can definitely see the difference in growth patterns due to the FIM'ing.

Ummm. . .The photo upload is not working. I think I've reached my quota, but it just tells me there is a problem. I looked at some of my old threads to delete them, but I can't. Hmmm.

I looked in the garden just before lights out, and I could tell they needed water. Lots of droopage. A few hours ago they were fine. Should I water them with my green plant light on or wait until morning?

I'm gonna do it now then. I've got pretty nice green garden lamp. I'll only give them water. rather then their typical tea mix. Did the plants die? How bad was the fuck up. Thank for the reply.

Thankfully it seemed like it was just a watering issue. Plant are back to their vigorous non-droopy selves this morning. But this raises a new concern.

Now that the plants are a little more than a week into bloom, they are drinking like crazy. I had worked my way up to 3/4 of a gall on every other day. Should I go with 1/2 gallon every day or a gallon every other day?

My gut is telling me 1/2 gallon every day. What does the farm think? These are 7 gallon pots. I've got the same problem in 3 gallon pots but I'll just extrapolate whatever approach I take.

i would agree with this statement but interested in the correct answer anyone know if feeding at night or watering is bad - i am under the impression it best first thing in morning.......

the results are speaking for themselves.
only "nutes" i use are things i put in my teas. alfalfa, kelp, EWC, maxicrop liquid seaweed, and of course mollasses.
i'm really overdoing my teas also/overdoing as in the strength i feed// if it says 1 cup per 5 gallons , i go 5:)

Thanks for the good vibes. Means a ton to me and the garden! I make my caps teas weaker then his directions (using tsps instead of tbsps). I foliar this undiluted and water it in diluted 50/50, only because I don't have space to brew 6 gallons of tea at once.

Any thoughts on my watering question?

I'm skeptical about my continued success too But once you get them to flower healthy... its supposed to be all down hill (the plants dying). lets just sit back and enjoy the ride

I suggest you water til runoff and K.I.S
With those big pots I'm thinking you could go a couple weeks if not longer in flower without watering.

There is a method I use works like a charm for me.
Before going big I have a near 2 or 3g root ball. I transplant when the root ball is drying that way I can water to runoff and leave alone. If its not dry I simply mist the inside of the new pot sit the transplant in wait a day or two then water to runoff and leave it alone.
Knowing where your roots are in big pots is essential. constantly feeding small amounts and foliar spraying is encouraging your roots to come up where the good stuff is but also exposes those roots which is good for top dressing and getting instant results.
There is more than one way to water a big pot. I think you will learn that daily watering is for hydro drip systems and the like.

FWIW I believe soil organic growing is meant to be set it and forget it you know not the daily maintenance of hydro.
sorry for rambling in your thread but if you can overstand my points its all good. One last tip you might want to space your plants better. watering at night and overlapping leaves is not going to turn out right. there are probably scientific evidence to my statements because I've read what I type in a roundabout way.

As far as the spacing, I hear you there too. . .Notice the title of thread has the word chaos in it, and my garden reflects that. . .in a good way I hope. I'm in an arid climate, and I'll drop the humidity here soon at which point humidity related issues shouldn't be a problem (knocking on wood). As far as watering, I can't water to runoff since I'm using super soil, I'll rinse the vital nutrients out that I amended the soil with. My garden is pretty set it and forget it, dumping in a half gallon to each plant every day is hardly a chore. I like spending the time in the garden, and my plants are thriving. I won't argue with success. :)

Thanks for stopping by. Brewing some tea now and will start the daily half gallon watering tomorrow morning. The larger ladies are showing some slight droop, but I'm pretty sure they can make it to the morning. Brought the RH down to 40% today. . .bring on the nuggets!

exactly - my plants get about 1/2 gal of feed -water -tea per day at this stage -week 6 -that is the ones in 5 gal pots -3 gal pots usually every other - but like outwest states i love being in the garden - so its far from a chore from me also - my favorite thing in this world to do (one exception lol ) is harvest - just love cutting up the plants - i think i would love to do it even it was 20 plants and not three or four.........jmho......
