If it is not a complete tear, some ACL's heal on their own. It may be an option for ya. Of course surgeons make their dough doing surgery, so often, most don't give you that option.

Considering the home knee repair kit by Ronco. For only $19.95, plus shipping and handeling I could get a entire new knee. But wait,If I just pay additional shipping and handling, I can get another kit free for other knee...

Found out Iam fully insured thru auto policy since i was injured on an insured vehicle. entering and or exiting said insured vehicle ... Should cover whole shebang. Be about 2 weeks till surgery...6 to9 months full recovery..
ACL completly torn as well as Mensicus..

Limping around carefully barking orders...

Which type of surgery are they doing? 6-9 months sounds crazy!! Sounds like they are taking your own ligaments from somewhere if it will take that long... 6-8 weeks was my recovery time for the exact same injury.

Hoping it wont be that long. That recovery time is for athlets to return to sport. Will be using donor graft...A friend of mine had the miniscus tear and did extensive research and was very happy with this doc...

Ah....Steadman Hawkins in Vail....the same group of docs (quacks) that fed my pill addiction for 10 years and the same docs who made me go COLD TURKEY from Oxy when they found out I had a MMJ card.

"you might become impaired if you smoke marijuana" was what the doc (Karli) said to me just before he told me he would no longer write me scripts or provide me "care" if I continued to use MMJ.

200 Oxy's a month....and weed is gonna make me impaired?

LOL

The docs asked me not too smoke night before surgery. But I also have. Never been a problem for me, just sometimes makes me a little P-noid during the wait, I just start thinking random crazy shit for no reason really.
So this last one I did not. That is my 2 cents.

I would never risk any complications with the anesthesia. It's always risky when you have to be put out... They have that shit down to science no reason to add a variable they are not accounting for. Good luck brother!! I wish you the best.
