When you top, make sure you don't cut flush! Make sure the cut is at 45⁰ and leave a 1/4 - 1/2 inch stump on the main trunk.....that will hopefully prevent a split down the trunk.....

P.S. when you top, use the top as a clone....

Dang totally forgot about the angle read it somewhere but went past me.

Yeah im trying to use them as clones was a bit sudden so I didn't prepare anything to help them root won't expect too much.

Cloning.....once you get the hang of cloning, you'll look back at the beginning and laugh.....

As long as there's at least one node in the medium of choice, water, soil, hydro, a couple fan leafs, and the clone stays moist, your good....I know there is so much more, but KISS....if you have rooting powder, use it....if not, just plant as is....

Chuck.....spray the leaves on the left side solo plant clone....she's sagging too much.....the other looks good.....

Nothing much going on, Plants grew and did their thing

Noticed some spots on the leaves and increased the Feed for the next watering

Plants still did their Thing and didnt had any real issues, only the clones were a hassle to keep alive fully expected the tiny ones to not work but wanted to give it a try anyways.

"Weird" Spots started to show up on the Skywalker

I was getting annoyed with the Clones and found the Soil not quite working for me and decided to give it a try with water.
Didnt wanted to just use a open cup so i mac gyvered a pet bottle with some pipe foam into whatever you wanna call this:

and cut styrofoam from my Inline Fan to hold the bottle.

Gradually increased the Feed over time:

Still had those weird spots at a few new Spots but didnt worried about it at that point.

The Spots on Skywalker suddenly took a turn for the worse, at least that was my impression maybe it build up more than i had noticed.

Additionally the new growth on all the Plants started to show up bright or bleached.

I preventivly sprayed the Skywalker with Neemoil to route out Pest or Fungi issues, thought it might be Septoria.

Also did a little of defloration with the Critical Orange.

I didnt quite noticed it at this point but here they began to show Pre-flower signs.

Not related to the Growth itself but i kept searching a good place for my Light Driver, while digging through the basement i found an old Office Rack i decided to use.

I later on put another PC fan below it so i got one on the side and one from bottom.

Thought i saw some tiny roots the days before in the Cloner bottle, but got annoyed with the bottle aswell so i decided to put them out and check on them.

I tossed the other 3 Clones, but didnt logged at which Point.

Seeing the Clones getting roots which i totally didnt expected i decided to give them a better Home and copied something i saw a while but, is it good ? i dont know i didnt expected them to root in the first place tbh and just kinda did it to not "waste" the cuttings and build some experience.

The same Day i had a Friend over that pointed out the bleached new growth to me, until this point i kinda didnt really give it much thought and just pointed it out above as it was happening at that time but i didnt really took note of it as something to worry about.

After talking and discussing it a bit i went a bit into panic mode, and increase the Feed a whole Lot.

Then beeing worried it might have been an overfeed i flushed the Skywalker but let the other 2 be to have some comparison.

I decided to log more data as seem to be having a stunted growth.
Plan was to release them from Lst and if they would still be bitching around at the end of week/ not growing much i would send them to flower once they somewhat recovered. At this point they were 8 and 9 weeks old.

Everything was released from Lst the day before and some things seemed to be happening fast, atleast from the pov from a novice
