Agreed, it boils down to convivence, and scale sometimes. If your doing a few plants, it might not be worthwhile, whereas if your doing a bigger spread, it can end up amounting to an arm and leg.

I think much of this stuff is being contracted outside the country, (China) actually. Then simply brought in as bulk, then packaged locally here. I agree, virtually nobody is investing into the infrastructure, or lab equipment to make any of these formulations. Cause the mass infrastructure already exist. There focused on pretty packaging, and nifty sales pitches, marketing strategy, nothing more. It's all smoke and mirrors.

It's all done by big Ag, then sent further down the pipeline, with each partner taking it's cut.

I don't use Athena. I have no axe to grind. I was researching Athena when I came across this thread. I just don't understand why guys like you come onto these forums and spread false information. And then when someone chimes in to try and educate you, you get all shitty and want to place as sort of blame on that person. The purpose of THC Farmer is to keep people informed, yeah? Get your facts right before you come on here. It took me all of 10 minutes of research to correct your false statements.

Also, I would think reps have more knowledge about their products than anyone. Most of these guys have large grows sponsored by their employer.

And for the record. The Athena Pro Line has changed in the formulation process at less 3 times since I have been using the product. I use it I can see it. So while they may have began creating their own blends, that does not mean they did not sub it out prior.

I never argued any of those points. I am sure you have seen it change a couple of times. That happens with new companies and new products. And you need to read the article. Their new facility is located in Sacramento. So what if you clicked on the link that takes you to their retail sites. That is also discussed in the article.

Same name as you see here, n0name_james. What you see is grown with Growers Choice led, Growth Science conventional, and Fish Sh!t. No mention of Athena or Luxx.

P.S. I would like to say that it is my first time growing with each of those products, as well as my first time growing with CO2 or growing that strain Shocktane. Had some misteps with feed rates and my temp/humidity so some of the foliage looks rough. There is a bit of a learning curve going from HPS to LED.

For the last time, I don't work for any of those companies. And I didn't click the links, I just assumed they were retail sites since they mentioned them in the article I pulled up on very short notice.

Never used Athena or Luxx. Can't say whether they are good or bad. I only have the information I gather online and from the grower community.

One of the many nice things about THC Farmer is the fact that that there comment of your is in stone, meaning anyone include myself can go back and read it or reference it.
