Coco in less than 3 gal. containers

Today starts week 6 of my 4 x4 tent grow with a 6oow HPS. Running half-gallon 5"x5" rigid pots with 100% coco and hydrotron on bottom. I hand water every day, and am doing a side by side with canna and Botanicare, running 4 strains SOG.

The plants look way healthier with watering every day than every 2-3 days with 3 gal pots.

Can't wait for those results. I'm using canna and was going to try PBP next round.. You still alternating with organics or are you just running side by side lines?

I run both at recommended rates in a feed, feed, water (molasses) schedule. I don't think it is good to water with plain water in coco, so I add either fish and seaweed(early flower) or 1 tsp. molasses in 1 gal of water. The coco is amended with worm castings and they were hit with an AACT in week 2. Those are the only organics I run.

So far my heavy feeder is my critical jack. Canna can't keep her happy and she started lower leaf yellowing at around week 4. Now I am getting necrotic lower leaves starting week 6.
PBP side is just now showing lower leaf yellowing.
The Blackwater really looks nice for the Canna side.

Yes the summer is going to be a problem with heat. I have a window a/c I'm going to use thru the summer but after that ill be strapping up the 1k.

Yes the 818 headband is from cali conn. I wanted to grow something either og or sour with the tre sisters and sour og is both of those lol.

grew th 818 from cali conn.. grows amazings. branches out a lot too. streches pretty good amount.

fem... and no i found 3 in the pack... ill show you a pic of a plant. dont mind the shoes, only empty room i had to do the trimming and harvesting.. if you notice the plant, the right side of it has branches that have been cut, i already took down alittle less than half, but this one was deffinetly sour leaning, she stretched a lot and the smell alone said it all.View attachment 311975
