I just sprinkled some ground coffee on one figuring it can used the increased acidity but thinking i’ll brew a pot to water another. The girls have a couple yellow fans at the bottom that i hope to stop from moving up the plant. I really should compost my food scraps tho.

I always compost it first to break down the caffeine.

Apparently its a popular middle school science project with varying results depending on the plant. However the garden clubs do suggest diluted coffee adds several nutes for acid loving varieties. Composting is of course their first choice for used grounds.
