Is coffee a quick fix for a nitrogen deficiency?

Curious if anyone has used coffee for yellowing leaves

I use coffee grounds in my veg patch it helps yes it dose great on keeping snails n slugs off my seedling , have used it on my outdoors gorilla grow plants a little goes a long way to much and the medium can become clogged up again a little goes a long way . Regards Od .

I just sprinkled some ground coffee on one figuring it can used the increased acidity but thinking i’ll brew a pot to water another. The girls have a couple yellow fans at the bottom that i hope to stop from moving up the plant. I really should compost my food scraps tho.

I always compost it first to break down the caffeine.

Apparently its a popular middle school science project with varying results depending on the plant. However the garden clubs do suggest diluted coffee adds several nutes for acid loving varieties. Composting is of course their first choice for used grounds.
