I was told this morning since we are FEMA certified, if shit hits the fan, we are considered ā€œqualified personsā€ and will assist local and state authorities if needed. Didnā€™t give us much info, but we were notified. Hmmmm.

ive been stocking up for the last 20 years,have a pretty robust militia in my area,just my family alone could probably take down a swat team.On fourth of July and New years it whoever builds the biggest bomb wins(mortars included).My dad was a pyrotech bomb expert in WW2 and had the shrapnel scars to prove it.I enjoy the launchable pipe bomb,before 9-11 we could drive to ensenada and buy M-10,000s(equal to 1/3 stick dynamite) for $10 ea. We reconfigured those into some badass shit.These nights ALWAYS ended up with helo's and searchlights,alot of old bunkers south of the presidio used to protect against jap invasion were our playground usually tripping on acid or schrooms.Good times and not many digits lost

I have heard from two sources that they are planning a federal quarantine of at least two weeks.

But i can not verify this info.

lol. i collect guns but I stay far away from the explosives. Dont need to give big brother an excuse.

I must be crazy, I dont even own a gun so I'm not stocking up on ammo, only have roughly 2 weeks of food. Got lots of weed & locks on doors tho. And unless they come in shooting with good blind aim first they will meet this bat. I'm "essential" business worker with 1 of my jobs so I have to be out anyway. I know a lot of good people tho so when things get bad we help each other out. I rely on friends if guns are needed, but they are good friends

Do agree this is shaping up in ways only imagined previously by Hollywood screen writers...I think also that weā€™ll have this around for a while. Really hoping that no one loses their shit, as I realize thereā€™s a certain ā€œedgeā€ running just under the surface.
Been watching a few 20/20 shows, those donā€™t help as thereā€™s always some defective personality fucking over someone whoā€™s blissfully just going about their life...
Made me think back to one instance where we offered a couch for sale, and got a visit by a shady pair, that were more interested in taking in the view of the house, than the couch...took down their license plate number when they left. But it taught us a big lesson, no more sales out of the house...all donated to whomever charity sends a truck.
Not in the Bay Area, but have been suggested to shelter in place as wife and I are both seniors, we donā€™t go out much anyway, just for groceries...
As weā€™re in the burbā€™s the ā€œNextdoorā€ app, lots of younger people have volunteered to shag groceries and stuff for those seniors in the community...very nice, hope we donā€™t have to find out if the offers are real...
