you should go ahead and get 3 aircooled hoods and a 4" fan
in the sealed room
cut a hole outside the room
run the line through and back out ....never breaching the sealed room

that way you can cool your lights and still be able to regulate the temp of the room without the heat from the lamps

you will also be able to run your lamps closer

Well He let me take it for a test drive for free :)
So I couldnt argue that one!
But yes I had come to the conclusion that I would need to get some more vented hoods and do exactly that... I will put a thermostat splitter on the exhaust for the winter to vent it into the house for heat,, save some money!

But for this run we gonna fly the solar storm 440...
Is it all right to run the uv bulbs all thru flower?

That was nice of him! is it 50 per month? Ive heard good things about CLW, not sure about the UV.. could probably call/email the company...

I like sealed hoods a lot but really want to switch to open hood CMH's and get a bigger A/C, maybe some day.. Anyone running CMH?

no but I am not sure if those bulbs really put off that much

yeah a lot of organic gardeners use it

I am becomming more and more convinced that mammoth P does nothing in the way of hydroponics
you could say that it is good for the 1st 3 weeks of flower stacking bud sights
but the same can be said for MH lamps
or blue leaning LEDs
the more I read about P in hydroponics the more I realize that high P formulas are a huge SCAM

this leads me to believe there is a reason why my run with grow 3-1-2 did so well
I just need to figure out a 2part formula that I can drop the N after week 3 down to 50ppm

Hokey......
UV is present every day
the best way to substitute UV would be to turn it on at peak hours ....like between 1:00pm-3:00pm every day
that would act more like the sun's UV peak

Are you saying just cause the word California is on it, doesnt mean its of good quality? lol
Sure cost an arm and a leg!
No it was 50 for the whole grow, but he let me take it for free..

Well got her hung and Im waiting on the heat test now..
So somehow I pushed my water head units down and that stopped my water flow.. Im not for sure how long but my coco was dry!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did a long flush of about a gallon a piece at .82 ec
Running water for a new res now.. My next goal is a big res,
thinking 105 gal...
So here is the clones, girls, and new light...
Looks pretty good in there!
I got it a good 3 foot off the canopy

I would probably keep it between 14-18" above canopy

what I was saying about the UV is....it is homey to use it at the end
the sun contributes UV every day

to keep the light more realistic to the mimmic of sun....which the uv is trying to do
it is best to use the uv for peak day
as in what ever time is mid day....use it at that time for about 2 hours a day
that will create more of a sun like effect
changing terpines and flavanoids

and the sun really does play a factor

those Quin N Tonics I have
indoors just a typical Indica
outdoors.....has pink pistils and smells like rotting blueberries.......same feed so it has to be changes do to the sun spectrum

Thanks and please do critique me. I've done it this way for a few years. I have no regrets...yet. I'm most definitely open to new ideas.
