Well im not gonna go thru everything for you at this moment... I think you know how to scrog, I think from your pics, that you didnt tuck enough, but you said you got more pics, so lets see the pre harvest pics...

And to clarify, I said you were wrong telling him to wait till he had the second screen filled before flipping to flower, and I still stand behind that.

3gal fabric pots, medium is : 40% fox farm coco loco, 10% sphagnum peat, 10% worm castings, 20% hydroton, 20% perlite amended with feather meal, bone meal, fish bone meal, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, crushed oyster shell, langbeinite, garden lime, and gypsum in half doses. this is my 1st 2nd and 3rd run with this media (mixed new volume for 2nd and 3rd run) for being a soilless mix it retains quite a bit of water so it doesn't drink like most coco

Anyway Your soil girls might not stretch and veg like straight coco in 1 gal pots..
more watering means faster growth..
I water mine 4 to 5 times a day...

so your setup and his are diff...

you're absolutely right my setup is probably different than his and i hope his grows faster than mine lol but i stand by my reasoning that extra canopy is better than less. my ladies grew pretty well all 3 runs but fuck it i guess i've only had a limited personal sample size. i was just trying to give polar my experience and suggestion and i laid out my relevant background in those posts lol. i still know next time i scrog i'm running 2 trellis' and flipping when the 2nd one fills so i can get a full 24" deep canopy.

the mix started with a buddy who was supposed to be my go to irl grow support but they flaked the fuck out lmao. the reasoning was to get a rhizosphere and organic nutrient cycling going alongside a synthetic feed. i'd like to think it's done fine but honestly i don't have any control parameters so who the fuck knows. the ganja last grow was fire but didn't yield for shit (.37gpw) the first grow was epic yields for a first grow but with ok buds (.7gpw) and this 3rd grow is fucking fire (glory pic of a top cola bc i'm proud, day 29 from 12/12 flip)

I have to work early... to late tonight..
And 24 deep canopy...?
I would rather have 12 deep, but 375 colas 12" long....
Lights lose par as distance is lengthened..
18" is about max...
anything lower doesnt have the bag appeal,
and just robs nutes from the tops...

But soil, coco, dwc,

plus
hids/par/c02

all will play a diff in your canopy setup...

Alot of things depend on the other factors...
Its just not a one size fits all....

a week after flip, i removed the males and supercropped,
did my best to fill out that scrog,
but as you see i didnt veg and weave,
i flipped, supercropped, then put on scrog because i had no choice..

My next scrog will be a proper...
I will run my UC,
and veg it all into that scrog!!!,
then flip, and keep tucking...

waiting to flip with a double scrog is not a very good idea in the least
when ever we give advice we have to take into consideration what medium and style of grow the individual we are giving advice to is using...in order to give correct advice

you see....if you told me to build a double scrog and told me to wait till I reached my second trellis I would be screwed
as my plant stretches 2-3x
better advice would be to keep filling your first net and then flip
about 2 weeks in to flip put another screen up
that will allow for the plants another week of stretch through the net using the second net to hold up the colas

hey man i respect your experience. my first and only scrog i flipped when the single trellis was almost filled and didn't get nearly the stretch i expected so i was giving polar my experience as i explained in each of the first few posts. my insufficient canopy fucked my yields and moving forward i'll always wait until i have at least 6"-12" of full canopy (scrog or not) before flipping 12/12. i'd love to have my plants stretch from 15" to 30"-45" just with the bloom stretch but that's not anything i've experienced or anything i've seen in the few grows i've seen. i was trying to give my advice, apparently your plants stretch way more than mine do and that's awesome! and apparently i should include IMO to start every post. i'm still not thinking i gave any incorrect advice.?

do you have a 7' ceiling?

ay also who's your youtube "grow guru"? i thought grow boss had some great knowledgeable scientific points but i'm open to new gurus my friend

if i was spitting nonsense let me know man, my grow right now is kicking subjective ass and i'm feeling myself over it and trying to share my experiences. i'm only about 14 mo direct and 4 years indirect experience with growing cannabis so i for sure have things to learn. however i stand by my statement, if i scrog again i'll fill a first trellis, and flip after the 2nd trellis is pretty much full. thats my opinion after having run a scrog (apparently failed scrog? def open to correction) and i gave it to polar including my relevant experience.

can you show me how to scrog properly please, assuming i fucked it up that bad? i'm a slut for knowledge so hit me with it
