Well got the hookup on some culture solutions nutes. Gonna jump off the deep end with them on the next og autos i run. Might try some on this Skywalker. Not sure tho.

Hey I just got my hydrogaurd. Should I add it to my res now, or does it get put in in a different order. I been running 3 days on my res with top offs. I am gonna run till sat and then change out. I been keeping my water temp between 60 and 70. I an gonna top off with water, bring my ppm up to base, then add my HG?

She's working on her flat top. Still looking a lil rough. But wait a week. I still need to get yoyos and or string to train her out.

Man it's so safe you can add it whenever. I use it at 5ml in 3gal. But it's just water and bacteria can't hurt nothing. I think they recommend 2ml per gal

Man I got this uc roots. It's some kinda acid for sterile rootzone. Hydrochloric I think is what it said. @Wisher619 what you be tinkin my bruddah?

I usually toss it in last. The warmer the better it works but don't go warming up everything . It works good around 72 also. But I don't cool at all.

I wonder if I could make it to cool for it to work? Do they use it with chillers??

I know some use it with chillers. But no need to run them imo. I mean you can but I get by fine without the cost and pain of a chiller. Them shits cost like a window unit. Not saying you don't get better results but nut worth it imo. Then you got more heat from the chiller to deal with also. But you'd be strait at 68-70. It just thrives on warmer temps. It's already a bad ass bacteria so I imagine it would be the only thing surviving in the lower temps. But that's just guessing. I've never used it left lower than about 70

Yea I've done it but really didn't notice enough reward for the work. But do what works for you bro. Literally that's what this is all about. Finding your groove.

with the flood res
Mine runs about 75-76 degrees
running the res cooler gives more oxygen
hotter the 72 and you run the risk of bacterial growth
thats why I use Hydroguard......
protects really good
