Why hasn't anybody designed a injector mixer, that continually regulates the nutrient strength in a res, with digital readouts , and configurations for nute concentrations. Just seems like it would make plant life as optimal as possible.

they have.....its like ......alot of money
but if you ever make your way to Nevada and get to check out any of the grow facilities you will see it there
along with a million sensors for everything you can think of
all on a commercial level
that stuff has been used for years in hydro commercial veggie industry
you make a huge batch of base and the meters read the ppm and always keep it at a constant by micro dosing the final nutrient tank....as well as topping off with water through a float valve system so everything stays a constant

on a side note....they also use enzymes to break down the salts and plant excrement into usable nutrients so the system just keeps going with no flushing necessary....well periodic but not like us home gardeners

Well I replaced the water in the res.
ro water=41 ppm
added 15ml calmag=130 ppm
added 45 ml micro=315 ppm
added 70ml bloom=450 ppm
added 10ml kool bloom=462 ppm
added 20ml of hydrogaurd
added 3 ml of ph down
ended with 462ppm/5.9ph

I would of thought that my ppm would of been higher.

Yep very expensive! But they are cool as hell! I like them! But 1500 could buy a lot of other things. Like a 6 bucket ebb and flow system with digital control bucket and 30 gallon res.

And not over 500,,, under 500 really because it was 462- 41(ro water ppm)=real ppm 421
And I just did a little test. I used tap water with a starting ppm of 330, I mixed up 75% strength in 1 gallon, and 100% strength in 1 gallon. 75% = 669-330(tap)=339 ppm/gallon, and 100% =772-330(tap)=442 ppm/gallon. And thats with the calmag added in!

100% has to come to 560
421/3=140+421=561
