I also grow what are called Rocoto peppers
they are fom the Andes mountains...literally my friend gave me them...she took them from there when she lasted visited....she is from Peru

I am gonna cut them in half....stuff the cavity with cream cheese and wrap in a piece of bacon and roast/bake @ 425 until bacon is done....once cooled can be left out and served room temp

Yep very expensive! But they are cool as hell! I like them! But 1500 could buy a lot of other things. Like a 6 bucket ebb and flow system with digital control bucket and 30 gallon res.they have.....its like ......alot of money
but if you ever make your way to Nevada and get to check out any of the grow facilities you will see it there
along with a million sensors for everything you can think of
all on a commercial level
that stuff has been used for years in hydro commercial veggie industry
you make a huge batch of base and the meters read the ppm and always keep it at a constant by micro dosing the final nutrient tank....as well as topping off with water through a float valve system so everything stays a constant
is that @ 75%?Well I replaced the water in the res.
ro water=41 ppm
added 15ml calmag=130 ppm
added 45 ml micro=315 ppm
added 70ml bloom=450 ppm
added 10ml kool bloom=462 ppm
added 20ml of hydrogaurd
added 3 ml of ph down
ended with 462ppm/5.9ph
I would of thought that my ppm would of been higher.

Sounds good. I had some lower yellow leaves. Just a couple.well in any case....I would run that this week and then up it to 100% next week

And I just did a little test. I used tap water with a starting ppm of 330, I mixed up 75% strength in 1 gallon, and 100% strength in 1 gallon. 75% = 669-330(tap)=339 ppm/gallon, and 100% =772-330(tap)=442 ppm/gallon. And thats with the calmag added in!
I know. I am a lil baffled by that too.that cant be right.....
if the ro plus 75% came to 421
100% shouldnt only be 442
