I use RO water and coco so cal mag is pretty necessary. My last grow I wasn't even giving them enough, they started to show deficiencies about a week before harvest so I just started flushing and called it good

I disagree brotha. If the cation exchange is full (which store bought Coco is buffered to break the K bond that would lock out Cal) then you do not need to supplement it. Odds are the deficiencies are a lockout.
I've never ever added it and I only use RO.
If you're using a bloom formula in veg then maybe but mostly for the N boost.

Read about cation exchange. It's a must to work with coco

I bite my tongue a lot cuz I'm a "stay in my own lane and watch the crash happen" kinda guy but we cover a lot of good info specifically on coco and I've been in the coco section lately and I just couldn't keep quiet anymore. So I've been going over this stuff with a lot of people but it needs to be out there

Justicemans root tutorial is the shit but it doesn't cover cation exchange, feeding habits, runoff ph/ppm or the elephant in the room "RO and coco need extra cal/mag".
I think it could help a lot of people and I'm very confident in putting it out there especially if wish gives it a proofread and clears up anything I might have a little off or misleading.

Hydroplex 2-5ml(week depending)
Sweet raw 4-6ml
Ripe 18-15ml (last 2 weeks before flush)

Sundays a tea of 15ml Pure blend Tea and 1/4 tsp +LIFE.

All ml/gal

And obviously I didn't come up with this formula. Wisher did
Just as people use Lucas formula etc you start with a proven tested formula and you tweak to your specs as you get experience.
The only tweak I have had to make is a lil more silica with my bloom mix as the ph like s to come to 5.6. So a lil extra silica blast to 5.8 and it holds there beautifully.

Already using it right now that's why I was curious. Tbh, I'm not a huge fan of the GH Trio, just figured I'd use the rest of what I have. Probably enough for this grow.

Nope. Don't need it. If my ph ever drops I change my res but that doesn't really happen. Amazon doesn't have +life. Dumb.

I'm not using a res though... Might be a waste of money but, I'll probably continue to use it. I only use 2-3mL a gal and it's not expensive by any means.

They'll be fine. I did It. I switched from AN to botanicare week 4 of flower. No problems at all.
