so much for GB huhOnly been using like 2ml of each thus far. I want my damn tray to get here so I can get everything setup and get the plants into the 3 gallon smartpots. Shipped today so Thursday it is. I plan to be in flower by the time I go to Lambeau. so two and a half weeks.
I'm gonna fight my urges and just stay with the GH stuff. I'll be running better seeds next grow so I'll save getting all the botanicare stuff for that. Will just order the pure blend tea and get some Epsom salt.

Rogers gone for the season yeah?
Well the first thing I would have you do is ditch the cages.
They are made for high ceilings and De gavitas with serious penetration in a grow room where there is multiple lights and lights over shadow each other..
Not for your situation..
Instead with yours we need to keep small (height)
and fillet that canopy under the lights.
You need to utilize fan technique, super cropping, and weaving your canopy..
Even with your flood table, that is still what your goal is..
UNLESS YOUR SOG
And thats quite a high plant count in a 4x8..
BUT VERY VERY PRODUCTIVE!!!!
Its the training that we need to implement in early veg...
So what is your plan for the flood tables?
Actually Rodgers was a super high profile QB sitting on the benchMmm... We'll see. 8 weeks minimum so that'd leave 3 games left. Our schedule isn't that difficult from here so if hundley can pull off some wins there's still playoff hopes. If we did get there in sure Rodgers would be back by then. Just sucks. We had a damn good chance to run the NFC.
I know Hundley looked piss poor but he's never seen action. he's got a week to prepare now. I remember when Brett Favre got hurt everyone was super down on the backup. Whom is Aaron Rodgers. So, only time will tell.
Huge kick in the nuts when you buy tickets and that happens before the game you're going to though.
Actually Rodgers was a super high profile QB sitting on the bench
there is always next year
Actualy Alex Smith was a Better QB in collegeHigh profile in that he was a first round pick. Johnny Manziel was high profile as well... trolololol. No one knew he'd turn into what he did. Or the 49ers wouldn't have taken Alex Smith over him
Not just bigger lights but 10 foot ceilings too.. I have seen the cages work great but with a totally different setup.I do think if I ever built out a room and ditched a tent that the cages would be perfect, I honestly like how they are currently working.. but yea I agree they are for bigger lights.. Let’s wait for the yield report, see what happens.
If I were going with two 4x4 outside dimension trays to fit perfectly in my tent I would do SOG.. but since I’m going 3x3’s I’m going to scrog. I will probably have a 4x4 scrog hanging with rope ratchets over each half of the tent. Will still try to stuff as many 3 gal pots in there as I can though.. midswell cause it just cuts down on veg time..
Would it be a bad idea to just run a constant temp/RH and try to do perpetual harvests on each side of the tent?
+also I remember event mentioning disturbing the light cycle to get fem seeds. I was thinking about just stick a branch or two out of the tent to do that. Would it work? And how would I prevent light from getting in the tent while doing so :\

I already figured that but waited to see..
Your best bet being new to UC and rdwc for that matter is grow tall using fan leaf tech, then supercrop dowm to 12 inches and throw the net in... Scrog from there and flip when ready....
I see a lot of ppl put the net to high imo...
+
I prob wouldnt do that. If you mess up the flower with light inturruptions on one branch it will prob cause hormonal shifts in the whole plant. Plus the nanners will prob seed the whole grow.
You need a seperate place to do this.
I recommend building a male diy chamber to do that in if fem seeds are your goal...
Well i didnt know. Sorry brother..Well my garage has 9’ ceilings.. close.. I honesty wish you would have tried to stop me from getting them if that’s how you feel bro.. they were not cheap.. I thrive on constructive criticism, i don't get really get too defensive..
Next round I would need a whole new set of CS nutes, the cost of those alone would amount to the cost of my entire flood table setup + the nutes.. especially if I bought uc roots again..
I have faith I can get better at growing in the UC, but it just doesn’t seem worth it to me to continue running it at this point.. the costs outweigh the benefits.
If you maximise your table growth then cash flow is not a factor. You can always change course whrn you have Benjamin's:)Well i didnt know. Sorry brother..
I also was thinking when we first started talking to mind my manners because you may teach me a thing or 2..
So i waited to see...
Dont let me change your thinking..!
Go for the flood tables and stay to your plan! Its a journey andni think your evolutionary next step is the tables..

The main thing in business,
Is to pick a plan and stick to it...
You never know. Down the road you may veg on the tables and flower in the UC. Yoy kbow the UC has pots that hold coco..
You have options!
Where you need to focus is on plant techniques.
Actually watch and emulate what joey is doing. He saw what I just did and he is doing the exact same thing..
Its a proven method...
Ive utilized super cropping since my second grow... On every grow since..
You'll need a veg area.haha all good bro, in the end it was my choice and its not your responsibility to tell me what not to do or what to do. But in the future if you see me steering towards a rabbit hole stop me lol...
On the other hand if i yield 1lb for my single 600w light i will be extremely happy with how the cages worked out hahahah... The colas are def beginning to look like they are going to get chunky..
My thoughts exactly, although if things are going that well i might not even want to change hahaha...
what are your thoughts on doing a perpetual harvest within one single 4x8 tent? two flood tables, a harvest once per month..
You'll need a veg area.
Then every time you harvest you take clones off you're vegbplants and throw them in the flower room. Then the clones go in the veg. And so on and so on.
Lol I will.. We have a more better understanding of each other now.haha all good bro, in the end it was my choice and its not your responsibility to tell me what not to do or what to do. But in the future if you see me steering towards a rabbit hole stop me lol...

Right because if you seal up veg tent and put humidifier in there to raise to 75 -80% rh,You'll need a veg area.

idk...Thanks for the Tea recipe seems strait forward. Is that the same "Life" Brand that makes Cloning gel?
@Toph420 I like the Cages If I had more room that would be My preference.
