It is made to pull your eyes away from the 100 actual watts and 10 watt leds..
A 600 watt real led is gonna cost you a $1000.
You figure the Chinese figured out how to cut that down to less that 10% and still make a profit.
Its a marketing ploy..
dont feel bad 600 other dudes got the shaft too..
It will get you threw this grow but I cant promise you no 12 zips with that light.
If we get 4 we be estatic. If we are only growing 1 plant this time, we fight for 3 zips hard..

I was thinking 600 watt would at least e 300 actual watts, not 100..

Soo what kinda of yeild you think we could make out of this crap light for 1 plant? I mean if its not gonna get me much of anything i would look into changing my light setup this run. I dont want a twig. Haha but judging from the babes ive had vegging they dont look bad. Nice halfinch base on a 12" tall plant w my cheapo light. Haha

Mornin boyz. (sup Wood nice to meet you) I built my flood table yesterday. Working on painting it now. All this talk of automation has given me the bug. Another week and a half we'll see it in action. I got the ebb and flow kit and the water and air pumps coming tomorrow. It will be interesting learning to keep up a reservoir. I got the home depot cement buckets for $12.95 each. The table is exactly one foot high and the res slides under perfectly. Gonna try some cns when my canna runs out. The trough is not as wide as I'd like but it should be ok since I'm only running 3 to 4 plants at a time.

Veg and flower are 2 different things.. The depth the plant will grow MATURE buds is hamppered, plus a 1.5 by 1.5 foot print in flower is like a micro grow. I dout thats bigger than shaq shoe box.. I mean we are wrapped in a box called physics, and not much space means not much cookies.

yeah that isnt a full spectrum
the sun is full spectrum
and that light dosnt emmit anything in the way of the sun

getting a good yield from that light might prove difficult because of the footprint of the light
it dosnt cover enought space to grow your plants to their full potential

Thanks guys, i may just go ahead and bite the bullet and upgrade in the very very near future. Think u fellas could through me a couple more options around the 100$ price range. I need a light thats lightweight as well cuz the bracing for my tent is pretty weak and also somthing thats not gonna get really hot or start a housefire. Lol i do like the hps link u guys sent n may just go w that just thought i would update exactly what i need for my tent and was hoping to get a couple more options.

I would prob recommend 2 3x3 flood tables, and 1 500 watt diy chilled light/with controller for the same investment of the UC and chiller.
add another 500 watt down the road, and your system is as good, and maybe better than anyone else's on this thread.
Capable of 10k harvests..
Im thinking of doing the same thing myself!

I could trade that UC and chiller for 2 500 watt diy chill led and controller, and 3 more 3x3 tables..

Well look how my first auto came out in Dwc... And I about killed it the first 2 weeks in rockwool! Talk about frustrated! But she brought daddy home. With 5 ounces by herself! Gave me the confidence and gave me confidence in Wisher, but I do want to note, he has been against me using dwc, well not against me, but would prefer I stayed in coco.. But James Dean Ive never been called....................

Nice! yup I think that's the same one lol. Sucks about the herms. Two elbows was pretty nice though. I'm thinking of getting another 315 to up my PAR. My homie just got a 600 for his 2x4 and a 1000 for his 4x4. Need to up my game. I think two 315's would be killer in my box (33"x45").

can you get thru grows, yes , but you will fight pythium, and you have no idea how fast pythium will fuck you up, and not just 1 plant, but every one of them since they are connected..
Im not the expert, but I do have several runs in dwc, and even with a chiller, my lil over feed, caused some discolor.. The only reason I can tell is new root growth is a whiter shade.
This is one of the best ways to grow, Dwc..
but just like any thing, you got to cover your bases..
And even diy is expensive to build. Covers for your buckets, epicenter, lines, pump, Air pump that can put out .75 lts and all the air diffussors. Have you seen my air pump, chiller set up? IO snap a picture of it. I ran it thre a wall because i dont want the hot air from the chiller effecting the grow environment. The air pump has to go out here so that it dont pull high levels of c02 from the room environment, and shooting into the root zone and poising the plants.. There is so much shit bro to this, and its expensive. My air line going to the buckets and epicenter is 1 1/2" wide, bigger than water hose by alot. The diffussors aint just disks like in fish tanks. And the ufo plate size one that blows up like a balloon in the epicenter is like nothing I ever saw before in my life. Its prob $75 just for that.
Not trying to talk you out of it, its my fav, but dude, its expensive...
Im just an addict for tinkering with high technology shit..
