Just got their tea and upon taking pictures I noticed the first crystals have emerged.

Hell yeah, the pots were starting to bulge a little from the pressure of the roots. Was hard to get them out lol. I don't think I've had roots that thick before. Maybe from the multiple waterings or the great white I put in during transplant. I think I just have to remember the hydroton from now on.

You might even consider in the future, mixing hydroton and coco 50/50 so you have better drainage plus you can really up the multiple feedings..
Thats prob my thought process moving forward with the ebb and flow system..

Kinda feel like a second net may be needed here shortly. They've grown quite a ways past the net. The canopy is pretty damn thick too. I feel like one of the main reasons I didn't get much of a yield last time was that I just had two plants in there under the lights. And a lot of light was wasted pointing at the ground. Now with a canopy like this... they're using about as much light as I'm throwing out.

Ah well, ended up opening a PayPal dispute on it...sure it will be fine in the end, just kind of a bit of a disappointment, have these nice lights to run and have to wait a bit. Far worse problems out there than this hiccup :)

I received your package. It was packaged like shit. You are very disrespectful to the people that you sell to.
My package was dented and the cord pressed in and loose where it enters the ballast.. At a 1000 watts moving thru the cord, it is very dangerous.
I took the ballast apart and fixed it.
So I didnt email you back and complain.
I figured it was just a unfortunate situation..
With that said, i am a moderator on a very popular grow site, and I recommended to one of the new members to purchase 3 ballasts from you. He did. You sent him 3 that were beat up to a pulp, because you, didnt take just a little bit of extra effort to package them correctly. Plus no insurance, so no protection! This is very shoddy business. You complained last time that this and work takes up too much of your time. That is no excuse for the packaging or the insurance.
I want you to make a partial refund to HIM,or I will make requests to ebay as well as Pay pal, and I will leave reviews AS WELL AS HIM!

I think the 2 or so inch layer of hydroton in the bottom of the pot helps a lot. Last run my bubba was slow draining like that and when I harvested them I saw that I forgot the hydroton in that one pot. And all of these I forgot too in the first pot so now I should be ok. (hopefully)

Did you say you put some great white in the coco before laying the cutting in and covering with coco at initial transplant?

We need to plan to look at the roots on both of them.. We gonna analyze, and compare..
Roots, leaves, and stems can tell us a lot about the state of things with in the plant.


If you remember mine had some scratches and bangs and couple fins bent.
I found that to be acceptable as they were functionally sound..
How ever we are gonna send an email ans see what we can negotiate with the seller.

Here we go, looking good bro.

Had to up-pot last night. The water was draining too slow because of the root mass getting too tight in the container. I put a layer of hydroton in the bottom of the new pots to help with drainage. Supercropped and slapped them down and added the scrogg net. Day 4 from flip.

Top Ramen!! Nice root porn bro.

(probably should have) When I transplant I use a method I learned on this site where you put an empty container (the same size as the one the plant is in) and fill around, I'm sure you've seen it. When I pull out the dummy pot I have a perfect formed hole which was a solo cup. I sprinkle that stuff all around in the hole where I transplant to then slip it right in perfect fit.

if you fed the tea then wait 2 days and we pull it out by flipping it upside down with the stem between your fingers.. Then take a pic of the roots..
Do that to both and we will compare them..

Who is the person that mailed out the package that got trashed? That’s quite unfortunate. Hopefully he learns from the mistake and packages better next time. Sorry to hear that happened to you. I understand how upset and disappointed you must be.
