3 quick questions, especially for Swisher, or anyone...
1. Could my plugging in the ballast, then as it's lights come one plugging in the light, be causing that E-04 then you think? May have done that but will be sure to plug the light & hood in first from now on. What about if the ballast was last set to only 400w and I plug in a hood with a 1000w bulb?
2. My plants are really starting to respond to the aggressive amount of low stress FIM-ing, topping and supercropping that I started far too late. But at what point in their life cycle should I stop, and how often is too often?
Guess it was only 2 questions, or the 3rd just shot out left field and will be saved for another day :)
All the best, y'all!
Lol i dont give advice on women!Ive been trying to avoid posting about this but its just been so upsetting to me i dont know who else to vent to lol...
My girl drives sort of crazy sometimes(speeding/passing ppl), she gets very upset/frustrated with slow drivers.. Our drive home is about 35minutes and is a 1 lane highway for 90% of the drive.. I do admit probably 80% of the time i get behind someone going 5-10MPH under the speed limit which can be pretty frustrating at times, but i just tell my self there is nothing i can do and just drive.. but what has now happened is there is a posting on some website about her car and where we live and there are a bunch of ppl commenting on it and what not.. They posted where she works, her dads address and where she went to school etc.. They even posted a picture of our house (removed by forum moderator).. They have called the police on her like 5 times and the police have even came to our house and pulled her over because of phone calls to the sheriff station reporting her for reckless driving(the cops in our area literally have nothing better to do).. Now my girl wants to move closer to her work but there is literally nothing we can afford and not to mention we would be going from a 3 bedroom w/ a garage to a studio possibly without even a cooktop or fridge. She is going to move to her dads temporarily on the weekdays i think for now.. I just cant stop thinking about what to do/what is going to happen.. Sorry Event if this is too far off topic..
Almost there!!! Soo i just got home. The coco is still a little moist but not much, deff gonna have to give a full feeding in the morning. Soo do we want the coco to be somewhat moist or somewhat dry to check these root balls?50 more miles...

The only part you should be disconnecting/reconnecting is the power cord from the wall to the ballast, never mess with the cord from the ballast to the light fixture while there is power to the ballast.. You should be plugging the light hood to the ballast while the power to the ballast is off.
Topping/fimming should only really be done during the veg stage, supercropping can be done during the beginning phases of flower. You should stop topping/fimming at least 1-2weeks before you flip to flower. The how much/often is more based on how big the plant is..

Ya that would suck bro!I agree i try not to give advice on women either lol. It would really suck if i had to move though.. would have to give up growing for sure and im just really starting to figure shit out..
no it has to be programmed by the remote. I got a remote. I plan to use it.. Right now its still in the box tho..Hmmm. As best I can tell, it doesn't appear to be possible to program the ballast to a 15-on, 15-ofg, or any other program not already there by default, without the remote. That said, I wasn't able to find any instructions other than ones for the newer SE/DR version of it. Does anyone happen to know how to program it without the remote?
soEvents your girls looking noiceeeeee buddy. One day, hopefully. Haha Ok, soo this is what i got. Both root balls look about the same to be honest. I ended up putting a brace up for the purp because the stem can hardly hold the weight of the big leaves, shes good now tho. Im afraid the purp may still be stretching a little still somehoe or another. think we should bump the light up to 75% or nah?
Thanks wisher, That makes sense. Guess i didnt really know what i was looking at. After u pointed it out i see what u mean tho. The rootball that u say dont look as healthy is the one on the sourjack thats yellowishso
to me it looks like 1 has a significant amount more of roots than the other
the roots look mich stronger and have connected on the bottom
I would def bump up the light to 75% already
Well one has just a lil better root ball. If you look closely, its a lil thicker, and has circled the bottom.Events your girls looking noiceeeeee buddy. One day, hopefully.
