Imo both. It just enhances the taste/flavor that the plant already has.

In my crits it really brings out the sweet and skunky in it. In my Pandora or auto Maria, it brought out a strait fkn pineapple smell and taste. Biodiesel brought out the fuel and fruit a lot.

yeah the smell stays with the plant after chop....people mistake flushing...well with flushing....what you are really doing is starting the pre-cure...so when your leaves start to yellow out and become cannabalized the chlorophyll is basically being deleted......so when you dry your plants....alot of people complain about a hay smell.....that is chlorophyll
if most of chlorophyll is gone...you are only left with the scent of the essential oils of the flower itself.....and Mg and Sulfur help to increase the intensity of the aroma of the essential oils

I swear this plant has grown since I looked at her just a couple hrs ago,, and ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I forgot this morning I walked into the room and I thought I had left some fast food out to spoil, but yet again, it had a smell of fuel... And for a sec I thought what the fuck did I do...... And the it hit me,, its the plants... I don't really smell it now unless I rub the leaves, but I sure did when I came in the room this morning after having the tent closed up, and it vents right by the door when u first walk in, so bam right at face level.

Well off to get water. I at least only pay 39c a gallon and it is ro water, compared to 89c a gallon for dh water now, so pretty excited about that, but I see a ro filter in my future...

They are expencive too. Mine dumped like 3gal for every 1 gal of ro it produced.
