I got a question for you Wish. I didnt do anything to the runt lst wise but yet it is a really nice bushy plant with out that 12" top. It has several branches with in a couple inches of the top. Is this somehow to do with the bucket? I had to lst like a nut to get the other one bushy and honestly i think the runt is bushier and at this point, wouldn't be surprised if she produces as much as the other, and maybe more. She is deff a week behind in the flowering stage. You can tell by the pistols. She is a couple days younger by time... She was a late hatcher.....
it is the genetics.....some when you top them they bush out like crazy....others dont do as well....I would let it ride because it has a really nice shape and solid structure...
I would probably just seperate it a little with yoyos or whatever and let it go crazy

thanks.....yeah she is just chugging along.....
I want to see colors like that. That is so intoxifying just to look at. I did see a little frost starting on the little sugar leaves on mine yesterday. Waiting for them to wake up and see if I grew another inch.... The tall one is into the light so i pulled the top to the side of the light. I am sure that will effect the size of my top cola...

I love the purple! That is why I really liked your rec on the Purple Urcle... I wish It was just legal and electric was a bit cheaper, I would grow 5 diff strains and donate half to kids with cancer, or some charity. I am not into it for no money. I am just doing it for fun and self preservation :)

yeah I hear you.....I wish tha it was taken off the list entirely so we can grow it like tomatoes and give it freely to whomever we choose......
although somewhat intoxicating......it is about as harmfull as eating some spinach/kale/fresh oregano in a juice......

lol you must grow some pretty good spinach :)

So @Wisher619 needing someone to bounce this off of,, so here goes.
Before we get started, I am fully aware, well maybe not fully :),, but close to understanding the cons of such designs.
With that said, here goes.
You know the General Hydroponics power grower I have. I am very impressed with it. They sell a 8 unit system, but it retails for 0! That is a lot! Plus I don't think I could put 8 plants like I got in it now in my tent. Honestly 4 of them would be filling it up quite well. So that is 4 more than I need. Plus I already have 1, so that is 5 more than I need. Plus I read where the design is kinda stupid thought out with the reservoir sitting on top of the controller, making it hard to adjust and check ph/ppm. I read 4 hrs of threads on everything I could read on it. 5 diff sites. I paid about for mine. I read where there can be fluctuation in the ph and ppm between buckets. They make a recirculating upgrade for it, but everyone but 1 person says that it doesn't recirculate the system very well, and still has fluctuation. And honestly this is what I want it for! To control everything from one bucket, in to 4 buckets.
The add on kit works on the same principal as my bucket to move the water to the top using just an air pump, and frankly everyone that I read said it didn't really get the job done with several taking diy approaches. Problem is a lot of threads just ended and who knows what ever happened. So help me think this out.
Some of my questions are, and what my objectives are. I want to control 4 power growers from 1 controller. I want the ph/ppm to be uniform thru out the system, I want to be able to make changes that happen quickly in the system such as pH adjustments. I like the way the drip dwc bucket works,,, I just want to control them all thru one. I just want to buy 3 more stand alone buckets, and daisy chain them.
Things I am worried about...
1. How fast do I need to recirculate it?
2. How can I make it to keep roots from clogging lines and causing over flow issues? Do you think having return lines at top of bucket( See youtube example below) will prevent this, since bottom is pushing fluid in and keeping the flow unclogged?

I will post some links to the systems..

I want to daisy chain 3 more stand alone buckets with mine, and make it work exactly like this!

to give you an honest opinion.....I would use your single bucket for a mother or something and get a completely different kit......there are alot of kits out there.....
I prefer and ebb & flow without the DWC portion of it.......
I can help tou with what ever you choose...but I wouldnt go with that kit....to expensive and with not that great of a rep....
to me just not worth it

Ya I wasn't gonna get that kit. But I am gonna build a 4 bucket system out of 3 more of them... But I do change my mind a lot and I got a couple more months before I get something anyway. Just doing my homework ...
Lol I had already watched that video. it is a decent system. But I like being able to see my roots. So I like dwc. And I like the drip ring. I just want to control all 4, and have it be reliable ph/ppm wise between them all. I think I am just gonna buy me 3 more stand alones and hook them up to my resevoir I have now, and push fluid thru the bottom and overflow out the top, back into my reservoir.

if I had the space or was gonna build a system that can be controled the way you are asking....this is the system.....top drip.....control the res to control the system because nothing sits....it is constantly flowing.....this is where it is at

Sorry fell asleep on you again... That dutch system is cool, and I do like the way it works. I would deff try that if I had space. Cheap, simple, recirc, simple to pull indiv plants out of system. That guy is just to happy. He hurts my brain when he gets to laughing like that....
So I forgot what system you was gonna use for the landrace, gg, seedlings you got. I remember you saying something to the effect, DTW, but I also heard you mention, drip once. I guess you could drip to waste huh? That is beneficial to you because you can take the waste and use it outside in your garden...

I am almost positive I am gonna use the power growers(4)... Are you familiar with how the waterfarm/powergrowers work? Using air to move the water up the bucket to the drip ring.? Is this better in some way than just using drip rings with hose coming straight from a manifold, directly from a res, and just individual air stones in the buckets? Because if just buying some bucket, with air stones in them and just running a manifold from res works just as good, then that is significantly cheaper. Is recirculating it in its on bucket have an advantage. I am gonna post this question to the forum to and see if I can get some waterfarm users opinions..

And General hydroponic is owned by Monasato.
That's why I stopped buying General Organics once I finished up what I had.
There's plenty of others out there that are better I'm sure.
Looks like your doing some good research though ,so props for that.
Keep learning my friend.

I watched a hr long documentary on Monsanto recently. Despicable, and ruined many a farmer. Government covers it up too. Germany said it won't use it, and Russia too, Prob more countries I don't know about!
Thanks! I do try to research everything I can! I have never been a very good lamb :)

Str8 what kind of system do you run?
