If you could have today what would be your setup?

A 600w LED or a single 300w hps bulb would be something I could possibly manage.

I paint the pollen on with a small brush then cover the branch with a plastic bag and spray the rest of the plant to kill any stray pollen.

it hasn't hapend to me but i'm not in a high humidity area. I paint it use a bug sprayer to spray surrounding area.I shake the excess water off and remove the bag all in less than 10 minutes.

but we do pretty good....

you need to find out the ppm of your tap water.
And you need a ph meter
and a ppm meter .05 scale
1 bottle of floranova bloom
1 bottle of calmag
1 bottle of ph up
1 bottle of ph down
coco (canna) (H&G)

and a t5 4 foot 8 bulb..
and we will put the cfl's on the side for side lighting..
I think we can grow 6-8 ounces per run with that setup...

Frojm what I know of mold and PM, its windows of wet/no air flow is 4 hrs for the spores to take hold.. So that is prob why you are good! I like it...

I Foliar with Silica. PM hasnt shown up but Im thinking the clones from the dispensary already had PM ,
when I did have an issue with some tangie a while back.
Im definitely done taking strange cuttings.

if in roots organic you shouldnt need to feed for like a month or more

OK cool. I'm using Roots Organic soil and ffof nutes for soil. Im following the nute feeding schedule every other watering. I also raised the lights a little.

See that could be another symptom I think, of high nutes...
I wouldnt feed anything for the first month in soil. But now that you have I dont know what difference it makes, but I prob give it a couple weeks before you fed them since them lil things haven't consumed any nutes yet!

we can use half ro, half tap...
that will bring it to about 200 ppm and we just use FNB...
Only calmag if we see an issue..
I bought my ro water at krogers.
I bought 1 blue 5 gal refillable water jug and ended up with 2 :)
costs $4 to fill both. so 10 gal for $4
used half and half, thats 20 gal for $4
20 gal will last you 2 weeks in veg,
and 1 week in flower
So $30 in water for your whole grow
Qty 4 plants in 1/2 gal square pots of coco

Just keep doing those push ups all night lol. It'll be worth it in the end. :0 Everything is better made by scratch.

I REALLY like Mother Earth Coco. I love how it absorbs. No need for perlite or anything (won't hurt tho. I just use hydrocorn at the bottom inch for drainage)

Also I was thinking if you are goin to be top feeding by hand I would go with a Lil bigger pot. Like 2 gal. Those 1/2 gal will start drying really fast and if you are busy for a couple days and is drying out you're going to get some build up/lock out issues. Gotta stay moist. I've been in 3 gal and they fill out great with roots quickly and can still feed twice a day in flower but it will stay moist up to 2 days if needed. Now with automated def go 1/2 gal.
