Well first 2 main questions.
What's my height numbers? Sweet spot?

How much hotter are they than a 1000 hps or mh not air cooled?

I mean when it comes down to it I'll be throwing both of them in there with no plants and seeing what's up but I would like to get a Lil info to start with. Lol

Height really depends on strain. 48-18 inches. Eg my g13, headmaster, alien and a lotta others do fine w the lights close but sour dubb, gg4 and some others will foxtail. ..not cuz of the heat as much as the light intensity


Not a whole lot hotter.... i installed 3 in a 18 x 18 rm. I was runnin 6 reg hps and when i first tried de i swapped 3 of em. It increased my rm temp by an avg of 4 deg but it really depends on the volume of the rm. If u have 10-12ft ceilings ull hardly notice

F@#k right. That sucks. I like the look of my bubba buds the best. It's the frostiest early for sure. I don't know what to do. Should I keep a plant so prone to herm if it ends up being the best? I still haven't tried it indoors.

Well I wasnt really.. My point was I live in a red state so u cant just go to craigslist.
Lil buddy is like son-ing me..
As for you been there and done that, seems you need a pat on the back?

My lights now hang damn near half way down my room. Lol and with plants on a table. I use not even half of my head space right now

Now now play nice guys. Lol. We will find out when this run is over. Lol.

I'm confident I can cool it. I'm definitely not gonna ruin my crop tryin to torch them with the de if I can't. Lol. But I'm confident I can make it work. The right mix of exhaust and ac. It's on a concrete slab and fully insulated so it's always cooler than the outside already

You are right tho it is not something to take lightly lol. I beleive the environment is the biggest factor in the whole equation
