That doesn't make sense to me.

In Coco you're going in pH is wayyyyy more important than your runoff.

IMO make sure your going in is exactly what it should be (5.8) and water to runoff every time. Don't even look at you're runoff ph. Maybe runoff ppm but not ph. It's gonna send you in a tail chasing frenzy. IMO.

I would never feed 5.0 to my plants no matter how high the runoff ph was reading.
If I felt it was outrageous I would run 5.8 thru it until it was lowered then continue my regular schedule. And I wouldn't expect the runoff to ever read same as going in.
And I concur 100% with that!

Brotha.
18 ml grow or bloom
5ml silica blast
Per gallon
Bing bang boom. Done. 5.8 ph every time. From beginning to end
Did exactly as u said...
Looks great!!!
Is the bloom just like the grow?
Clear milky?

So this looks pretty nice..
Down the road maybe put a cmh above them...

My 15 gal res wont fill it up enough.
I have to get a bigger tote out the garage.
I can see me just getting a 40 gal botanticare reservoir and lid down the road

Yes it is. The supplements are not butbbases are. I pour all but about a gallon of my water into my res and add silica.
Then I put the Grow or bloom and any additives in the 1 gal of water and mix like crazy. Wish uses a paint mixer on a cordless drill but just shaking or swirling works great. Then I dump that solution into the Rez. Better than trying to mix it in the res and splashing around. Lol

When it's all mixed in the res it's clear like water. Just milky when you first poor in or if it's not mixed enough

That was my issue last time. I was feeding around 5.0 last time just to keep the pH below 6.5 :/

Was a huge pain in the ass. The plants did fine with it. But I think Aurora Indica is a pretty hardy plant from what I could tell.
I bet that was because you were trying to read runoff
not in coco
rhizosphere ph is differ that feed ph that is differ than media ph
dont ever try to compensate ph
just feed to runoff every time and make sure the feed goes in at 5.8

also the first feeding you should run feed through until there is no more brown/yellow comming out the bottom

There needs to be another write up stickied in the Coco section on coco maintenance.
I feel like so many people are misunderstood. Feeding every 3rd day. Insisting on adding cal mag. Insisting on cleaning the coco. Insisting on testing runoff ph. Insisting on using big pots among other things.

I think our little group with wishers help are gaining a good handle on coco.
Hell even @Organikz and I had a convo and he even admitted I was able to open his eyes to it and do some research

I'm thinking about writing one up and maybe @Wisher619 can proof read it make sure I'm not mistaken or missing something.

I just don't like "old timers" thinking I'm some boob who should be seen and not heard. But truth is there is a lot of misconception out there
