On the PBP feed chart:

I'm thinking it has something to do with organically or synthetics??
I've always wonder d too because there is such differing opinions.
They're probably both right depending on the product
I always hear "use it as ph up" but if it had to be put first thag wouldn't add up
FWIW I try to figure out how much SIlica I need to get my ph right and add it to my res first. But if it needs to raise I add more after everything's mixed.
I haven't seen any evidence either way of it not mixing. The Ph always holds steady after raising it so I imagined it mixed well

Yep
I put it in my Rez first in the fresh RO. Then I mix my nutrients in a seperate jug in about 1 gallon of RO in order to mix well then I dump in the res
Go out have a smoke and come back and check ph. If it's low I add silica straight into the Rez until I get my 5.8. I try to remember what I used and add that first the next time.
Usually only takes a couple times before I have the right amount to add at first.
Then when I up my nutes or change any way I do it again. Lol

So when you up your nutes, you add more base, then add more Si to bring ph up?

Well at least I know how much I need for a run now..
Do note that the ppm readings on here are in .7
Just pay attention to EC and convert to .5 scale for ppm

Yep. Exactly.
And also with hangs like Hydroplex it starts out at 2ml gal week 1 and goes up. It also brings the ph down a little so say week 4 I will ulbthe Hydroplex and sweet. Then I will need to adjust my silica as well.
But if I'm upping nutes because they're hungry I just up the base only and add silica as needed
I honestly never ever use up or down.
I swear it threw my plants off before.
It's like when you have a bad meal and can't even look at the restaurant again. That's how j feel about up and down
I'll just use silica. Lol.
I usually don't have to lower my ph

Ya I like their calculator. You can put your own numbers into the boxes and it will tell you what ppm it should be and how much you will need for the run.
You can tweak individual boxes in the chart to your own needs and it will give you the calculations. Pretty cool

First time I got 100% clone success

Even the one I took slightly flowering. Hahah
Probably gotta go thru a little reveg so that will be fun
Had to put this Chemdog 91' in Coco today. Roots exploding.
Might go get me a lil tent today to veg my clones in

I was just thinking about my room too lol
Im eager to see what kind of growth that flower cutting has right off the start compared to the rest.

None of the others have flowers but I wanted to grab a cut of that one. It rooted fast. Gonna throw it in Coco today j think and see what she does

That's the one in the other pic. Rooted faster and better than any others. Hahahah. She's a strong girl

Also grabbing cuts of the Jawa Pies today and gonna toss them in the flower room. Probably put them on a milk crate to prop them up where the 2 males were. Then I'll weave thru stretch in the Lil space I left for them.

They're going into 1/2 gal coco pots real soon but once you're ready I'll bring ya a Chemdog 91 and a Fire OG in 1/2 gal ready to go.
