Nah, I was testing in a solution/water mix. Conductivity meter is perfectly fine now. Reading 2.7 and the temp is right. I think the pH probe might just be a dud. I paid $120 for it. So even if I gotta pay $50 for a new pH probe it's cheaper than retail

Directions straight up say the Conductivity meter doesn't need any sort of calibration. I bought a kit that came with 2.77 EC conductivity liquid so I figured I'd test it out.

Doesn't move from 7.0. If I unplug it it goes to 7.2... lol

When I watch a video on calibration, when he hits the Cal button for 7.0 pH the top two say pH, cal, and the pH one says 7. When I do it, it says pH, Cal, and then four 0's come up one at a time and it says 7.0

I'm gonna order a new one off amazon but I'm a bit worried... a lot of reviews saying no solution in the cap..

Not mine... it's just a front & back piece of paper. says that nowhere on it. I'll give it a shot I guess. Still gonna order another one just in case. won't hurt to have an extra.

Hmm.. not what I got. Mine is basically page 7-14 jammed onto a front/back sheet that's the same size as those.

So basically my 7 LED light is green, and the 4/10 isn't on. But she's locked onto 7.0 on the reading. I think the meter might be fucked, but... it's soaking. We'll see.

Thats how they come man. Look....heres my spare right out the box...no liquid

They can be rehydrated when new but once u do that u can never let it dry...it ses right in the directions "if it dries it dies"

just presuming it was brand new
my probes always come dry
I use a hanna
but right out of the box it always reads 7
put it in the solution for 24 hours
tada!!!
