Thanks Thoth. What I've only recently studied up on is VPD, or vapor pressure deficit. Pretty much the only variable I don't have dialed in and never have, is humidity. My area is super dry and all of my grows have been in the 30-40% RH range when they need to be around 60%, yikes.

Makes me wonder how much craziness I've missed out on over the years and how much crazier they're about to get now that I'm aware of the importance humidity plays in plant growth.

DwD, you more cray. Call ya Crayola.

Strong work. Everything I see about those gavitas is money. May have to be my next unecessary purchase.

Thanks man. I'd call it your next most-necessary purchase, outwest.

My first run in a DR120 tent, Gavita DE 1000 and 9 Grape Krush landed a bit over 2 Ps. Second run with the Ghost OG was a few zones short of 2 Ps. The current batch of Ghost OG are much thicker, should see 2 this time. Pretty good for not having proper humidity or amped up CO2.

I'd imagine adding in the Plasma will pump up the weight and slam it as far as quality is concerned.

Ok I have some questions about the gavita. . .Can I use my existing hood, or does it have to be that specific hood? I currently us a hood that holds two lamps, I'd love to put two of these gavitas in there. Also, it seems like there is only one bulb used, no need to switch for flower, correct? Thanks!

The model I use is an all-in-one unit with the ballast built into the reflector. The bulb is unlike any other on the market and has electricity supplied from both ends. It's also a 400v bulb that has to run on their 240v ballasts.

Philips developed the technology for the horticulture industry with highest PAR output in mind.

2 600s and the plasma? Wow. Think I'll just start with the 2 600s. Some time in 2014.

Thanks, Enough. Keep up the good work. Look forward to the dried shots. Something tells me this ain't your first rodeo.

Mmmm, root porn!

Everything is looking superb.

Do you switch the plants from the tent to the undercurrent, or you have both so that you can grow more?

Thanks salmon. I'm playing in both coco and water culture, keeps it interesting. Working towards a sealed and dialed 6kw room with 3 lights of each.

see you this week

We should do a BBQ up at Horsetooth with the dogs, dawg.

I put the DE 1000 in with the Plasma for some turbocharged veg action before separating the strains out to their own lights. Let's see how fat the leaves get.

Yukmouth's new album is pretty bangin', definitely hip to the Cali weed scene in the rhymes.

They look great
Them are tangerine right??
Keep killing it bro

Thanks bro. Tangerine to the max! Had an issue with smell getting outside towards the end and need to tear everything down and build an actual room again. With some ozone and carbon action.

I had a few nugs fall off taking the plants out of the cages and gave them a smoke. The CS nutes and feeding schedule are dialed. Hands down my best work in a UC having never over fed and properly flushed. I'm a picky smoker and usually toss out the nug after a few hits and the green is gone but this stuff is tasty and smooth until turning into white ash.

That's what I'm saying R.E.d.

Not sure why but that's been my experience with any/all of the CS fruit I've burned. Clean, Stable, and Top Shelf FTW.

Can I smoke your roots?
