PERFECT!!!!!
This was a Crockett Strawberry Fields F2 that I was cooking up. It seems that with every generation..it get better and better.
When you think about it..the dryer will be perfect for drying seeds too!

I have seen people actually start seeds in paper towels in the dryers but haven’t tried that. I have seen lay parchment paper out and dry bubble hash

Hmmm.....Perfect timing..I was thinking of doing a hash run with all the fresh frozen from the summer! I will give that a try, and when I do..will report back.

The stem snap test is the surest way to tell whether your buds are ready for burping.

Do the stems twist instead of breaking whenever you apply force? If yes, then you need to dry them out for some more days

Sure did..That was a seed that I missed when I put the flower into the dryer.
The seed sank in 12 hrs, and cracked at 24hrs. It is a Crockett Strawberry Fields F2 that I was making. Didn't plan on dropping any yet (no room), but this is in a rockwool cube now.

I didn't pop it in the dryer..but my normal method..soak in water (and a little H2o2), and then a coffee filter (better than a paper towel..no root sticking) until they break ground.

Looks like I misunderstood the question..wonder why..too high..LMAO

If you do not dry and cure properly (like at least two months), your hard earned work will smell like hay!
Think Tobacco in the same way (dry and cure) ..just don't smoke that crap! LOL

What causes dried weed to smell like dirt?? I know I screwed up in the curing process. The buds smelled so nice and strong (although they were from midget autos). The trichomes were both amber and cloudy so I believe I yanked it pretty close to the right time. Dried it for about 6 days. The buds were embarrassingly little but had a strong smell and were sticky. I popped them loosely in mason jars and opened the jar a couple times a day. Didn’t try it until it was ten days cured. The Tangerine Dream now smells like dirt and wouldn’t give a piss ant a buzz. Any information is welcome. Thanks everyone!!

I was just joshing..LOL

I do not know the science, but Cannabis must be slow dried (our old tried and true method..until this dryer thing).
Usually 7-10 days hanging in an environment of about 70d F and 50% RH (optimal), with gentle air flow, but not directly on the plant..in the dark, since light and oxygen degrade THC.

The thread speaks of this dryer a few members are using with pretty good success. it runs totally contrary to every thing we know and have learned, but it works!

Followed by curing in a sealed environment (like a glass mason Jar) while maintaining about 60% RH. Some don't like them, but I used to use Boveda 62% humid packs that worked for me, with little to no burping (before the dryer) . Best cure is about 60 days..and well worth it in taste, flavor and smoothness. During this time, the microbes are busy breaking down the chlorophyll, that makes for a harsher smoke.
