What it do folks?! Novice grower DanC520 here firing up my next run. Before we get into that, this is where we last left things.

1st grow ever and in Coco - what's up with my ladies?

Plant 1 (primary concern) today Plant 2 (less of a concern, but still...) today Long time consumer, first time grower. On about day 19 since I dropped seeds in water to soak. Everything seemed good so far, but something is now amiss. I gave a hefty watering yesterday afternoon and about 6-7...

So both tents finished up. Ended up with a over a pound of nugs from the five plants.

The cures are just wrapping up. The Black Widows genetics definitely proved not as good as the other tent. Also let them go a few days too long. Bigger tent came out much nicer with the Mimosa and Glookies. I've primarily been giving away. Mainly to my SIL, who has a medical need. She has told me they've all worked great for her. I have to believe since they've come back for seconds. Here are some alright nug shots.

So with both tents not in use, took the time to rearrange my grow space. It's in a guestroom. I took the guest bed apart and now there so much room for activities!

And here we are.

Mephisto: haven't decided yet. Embarrassing amount of options. Frontrunners are Pinot Noir, CLDC, BAM, Straw nugs x Forum Stomper, Pink Panama, and Forgotten Cookies.

So germination not my most fav part. Like get on with it! I want these plants starting at a similar time, so shit or get off the pot. I need to know if need to pop others ASAP.

Strawberry Mango Crumble just breaking surface. I see the tap root in the other two (rapid rooters in a clear tray), so fingers crossed they otw.

Then need to decide on lighting for this first week or so. First run had in a room with natural light. 2nd run was with led light w/ a dimmer. Atm these ladies in tent with the 315w. I feel like that might be a little much off rip. Maybe a little reading light to start then give extra distance when move to 3 gal and turn on the big light? That’s what I’m thinking.

All popped and that little light only good for a couple of days. These ladies started stretching looking for rays. Turned on the 315W at a solid 30+ inches. Didn't want to shock them and recreate the scene from Xmas Vacation.

Seem to like it so far. Will pot up to forever home today / tomorrow. I'll post some pics when I do. Nothing too exciting to look at yet. "yup, that's a seedling" Basically proof of life at this point.

Nothing too exciting, so I've been slow to update. Transfer seemed to go fine. Growth above surface been a tad slow, I'm just assuming the roots are doing work. Might have to rethink my germination/seedling process when growing autoflowers. Feel like other "day 9" type posts have larger plants and I'm on the clock lol. Anywho, here are the ladies.

Just added layer of hydroton. Preemptive bug prevention. The monsoons have all the creepy crawlers out.

I'm a moron. While that tent hasn't been too exciting yet. My bro and I have totally got going on the auto water/drain system for the 4x4 tent. Decided to start with the drainage part first.

We made 6 of these saucers

And they'll be connected to this

Which will then pump out to a bucket outside of the tent. We're just about done, the drill died before we could finish the final lid. Plan is to finish that and get it all set up in the tent. Then will measure out the hoses for the watering part and start getting the halos put together. Since my light doesn't have full 4x4 coverage, I'm going to skew it to the side to run over the two rows of saucers and use the further side of the tent for the bucket, fans, and other tent shit that doesn't need light to grow. I'll get a better light if I'm not happy with results of this run. Targeting mid/late August to get plants going in there.

Picking up steam now. I think ultimately they're only a couple days behind an "ideal" start. So no biggie. I think they'll be good for some LST in a week, which has been my plan.

Day 17: Strawberry Mango Crumble - Sour Stomper - Double Grape (all autos)

I do see some minor tip burn on the Double Grape, righthand one. Gonna dial back the nutes a smidge and see what's up. My In/out ppm/ec is fine, so don't think its build up related.

And umm, already? Seems a little early but first time with autos so idk lol. That or the fact I don't know plant biology, really any biology, is showing.

I was thinking of topping, but now rather hesitant. Since first time with autos and first run of these strains, leaning towards just LST. Figure I'll start that Sunday or Monday.

Bigger tent coming along. Wrapped up the auto drain stuff. Just need to connect tubes to buckets. Will get started on watering part this weekend.

Didn't top. Little pistils shooting up all over scared me off that. So went with some light bondage instead.

Day 20: Strawberry Mango Crumble - Sour Stomper - Double Grape (all autos)

I had planted them slighly off center with training in mind. So just pulling to opposite side across the center. So that and some tucking. Makes feeding a pain atm tbh. Especially on the squat strawberry mango crumble. Which also seems to be showing mild light stress? lt usually sits around 77 @ leaves, so don't think heat. Light a solid bit away, so idk lol. Not stressing too hard. Basically plan to keep it up here.

Other tent coming along.

My bro and I put all the pieces together and tested it out. Works pretty well. Will still probably use the risers to be extra carefull and get max airflow. Getting going on the auto watering tomorrow. Figure we'll have it together by the end of this weekend. Will spend next week tweaking it and figuring timer out. If goes well, germ the following weekend. Still need to decide on my seedling strat. Going to run autos again. Maybe try a solo cup step? Or maybe hand feed for first week or so if go from rooters to 3 gals? Def running 3 gals because I have the coco and the pots already haha.

Seems like the training has generally worked. Wish the Strawberry Mango Crumble spread out more, but its just a stout/husky lil plant. The shortest, bushiest, and thickest. Will prolly spread stalks out once stretch hits and I have room to work with. Other two are about where I'd want.

Day 24: Strawberry Mango Crumble - Sour Stomper - Double Grape (all autos)

Other tent moving along. Bro and I put together most of the water system. Just need to attach halos and get the pumps in the reservoir. Then time for me to balance the outflows and figure out the timer. Will germ next weekend if things go well. Following week if hiccups. Thinking Forgotten Cookies, CLDC, Pinot Noir, Pink Panama, Strawberry Nuggets x Forum Stomper, and Cosmic Queen. But have other options and 6 different ones might be tad too ambitious with auto watering. Chance I'll run x2 of three diff ones instead. How small tent goes will inform that decision.

Other tent about there. Realized I needed another extension cord. Get that tomorrow. Its together besides that. Prolly get pots filled up with coco tomorrow as well. Will germ once I feel comfortable with how auto system working.

Definitely stretching and starting to flower. All in all, filled out a little more than I expected. Tight squeeze, but I think will be ok. Plenty of airflow.

No pic updates of bigger tent. Got all the stuff set up. Pots all set up and charged up with calmag. Plan on doing a little more testing early next week with auto system before I germinate.

Really filling up the space now. Started to defoliate. Just little bits here or there. Going to have to do more to keep air flowing. So many bud sites on the Sour Stomper.

Big tent coming along. Getting volume/timing dialed in. Also decided going to do seedlings with some CFLs. Couldn't decide on how I'd get tray and heating mat into the tent with all the stuff I have in there. Decided probably easier to do outside of the tent. Just until they're 10-14 days old and ready for the auto water system. Anywho, set up basically this.

I expected the SMC to be smaller, but didn't expect other two to get so big. Double grape just shy of three feet. Filled to the brim here. Debating on swapping spots between Sour Stomper and Strawberry Mango Crumble. Also debating what I'll do for drying. Have a feeling these won't all finish at the same time.

Day 39: Strawberry Mango Crumble - Sour Stomper - Double Grape (all autos)

No major update on big tent. Will work on it tomorrow. Did order some CFLs and some end tables to make a little germination station per my previous post. Labor Day more likely now. Work getting busy, so don't feel as much urgency to get it going now. But won't drag my feet too long.

Haven't updated in a bit. Busy season for the job that pays for this hobby lol. No biggie since mainly me talking to myself haha. Definitely some changes in the small tent. Propped up the Strawberry Mango crumble since so short. On the other hand the Double Grape has gone nuclear. light at max height in 8 foot tent and had less than a foot from then top. So dropped it as low as it can go. Might have to pull the tall bits away from the light. Also debating how I'll dry since chances are not all going to be ready at the same time. No good options in my house. Probably use closet in grow room as temp spot if neither tent available. Anyways, here are some pics. Obligatory cat hair on nugs included.

Day 48: Strawberry Mango Crumble - Sour Stomper - Double Grape (all autos)

Big tent pretty much ready to go. Still getting the volume/timing dialed in, but close enough to get things going. My bro definitely helped a lot with the big tent, so props to him. Not much to see in there that isn't in prior pics. I did make the germination station, so hopefully that works out well. Plan to keep seedlings there for a week or two before putting into auto system pots. Decided on x2 with three diff strains. Creme de la Chem, Forum Stomper, and Pink Panama.

Moving along here. The Double Grape is just out of control. Supposed to be a medium plant and it's 5 feet tall. I have the tallest bits being pulled away from light. Might have to bend them down some as well tbh. Two random leaf tips show signs of stress or something. Other two seem further along and about the size I expected. Starting to frost up. The Strawberry Mango Crumble has buds coming in pink/red, so that's cool. Pics won't do justice, but I'll include some below.

Got the other tent started up. Well sort of. Tent is ready, but will use my germination station for another week or so. I think one of my Pink Panamas failed to germ. Didn't see taproot when I put in rooter, so I won't be surprised if it doesn't pop. I'll just run 5 plants if that's the case. Tbh, 5 might be too aggressive considering how full 3 got the smaller tent. But I should test and learn the hard way.
