Do you have an exhaust fan in the tent drawing the air from the room in?so i have my tent in a 8x12 room i have a 35 pint dehumidifier in the room the dehumidifier says 50 rh tent rh says 65 what am i doing wrong
Yes 6 inchDo you have an exhaust fan in the tent drawing the air from the room in?
Can you control fan speeds? Maybe slow one of them and see what tent rh does. Sounds like the tent interior just isn’t getting the lower rh air.its all new i have a 6 inch exhaust fan in the tent blowing shit outside i have a 6 inch intake fan blowing air into the tent
sorry i meant a 4x4The 6inch fan isn't big enough.. you'll have to run it on full blast if you haven't already and see if that works. I have a 8inch in my 4x8 at #8 speed
ohhhh ok that works then...are you venting to another room or just out of the tent? how many ft of ducting/turns/bends?sorry i meant a 4x4
the bends and ducting adds more cfm i'm sure you prolly already knew but I figured id say it anyway.. what speed was your fan? temps in the room? were the filtered vent holes open/how many? Could be low airflow ... If upping your fan speed and vent holes doesn't work within a few days turn your dehumidifier down to 45%im venting outside no turn on intake not even a foot of ducting
exhaust maybe 3 bends 6 or 7 ft of ducting maybe
After i saw your post i quickly moved my hygrometer which was sitting on my tote lol above the canopy..thanks! :PAlso make sure your Rh/temp gauge from the fan is over the canopy and not below
Aye! lets gooo I was helpful?!After i saw your post i quickly moved my hygrometer which was sitting on my tote lol above the canopy..thanks! :P
