Demons 315 Cmh Veg Room Grow

This is to document my 3x315w cmh veg grow vs my old mh grow. Old was 3x600 mh in ac hoods. Running 3x 315w cmh in the same ac hoods. Bulbs are 940 philips cdm elite bulbs (single jacket, t9 iirc). I only run as many hoods as I need to as the plants grow. As of today, only 2x315 are on, but have 4x 4bulb t8 6500k fixtures on as well.

Ambient temps are 82*, rh is 70%. Used Exhale co2 bag from clone room.

Main strains: 12 total
4x chaos 4.7gal
4x darlins net Dansbud pheno 4.7gal
1x Mob boss 4.7gal
1x Mob fuck 3.7gal
1x Strawberries n cream 3.7gal
1x cherry pie 3.7gal

Still have 3 or 4 side spots to fill. Choices between the following:
Chocoloco
Cheese
Conspiracy kush
Kalidescope kush
Grape og
Bruce banner 3
God bud
Cannatonic 4 cbd hp cut

+7 weeks until flip

We'll see how the veg growth is compared to the mh grows. All the clones in solo cups are extras, along with the 3x big plants on the left side. The 3x reveg gg4 are also in the room.

I'm up in the air on what to do for lights myself. I have a 3x3 for Veg and a 4x4 for flower. Currently have a DIY 3590cxb 400w (8x50) and an Amare SE250 (CXB3070+red+blue).

I was thinking one of two things
1. Grab another 200w CXB3590 from RapidLED ($299) and put in 4x4 for ~600w
2. Grab a 315w CMH and put in Veg and then have both LED in flower (~650w)

Any thoughts having used both? Thanks

There can be a nice gem for that God bud. My sister owns a dispensary and some guy grows only God bud and it sells out the door. 2600$ a lb, when they usually only pay 2k$ for other good stuff. It doesn't even look that great but ime ppl go nuts over it. it's crazy.

The GB pheno I have is like doing a fat ass line of coke. Super super head high. I don't like it at all. Only grow it by mistake, and keep clones for other growers. Here's a pic of GB solventless rosin extract. Did a big ass dab and was stuck downstairs for almost 2hrs before I could.make it up. Lol

These guys are mixing hps with cmh, mh with cmh, 940 and 930 cmh.

The girls are loving the new lights. I only have 2x315 on right now (and my 4x t8 side lights). I'll turn on the last one tuesday or Wednesday and move the girls around. Today they all got a feeding of Sweet n raw, osa 28, and some bubbled h2o.

Turned on the 3rd 315cmh tonight. So there's 3x315cmh 940 cdm elite philips bulbs in ac hoods, and 4x 4' 4 bulb t8 6500k lights on the side of thw hoods. Half used Exhale bag in front of intake fan in room. Don't care if it works or not. New one went I to the clone room. Also moved the girls around. Potted 3x gg4 in 3.7 gal pots tonight with another 1tbsp great white mycos. They drank sweet n raw, osa 28, and 10ml of promis (fn FG from ffof). Running about 84* and 69%rh. Can't get any higher that that.


Don't mind my fogger blur in the lower right. About 48 days until flip. About to do my 2nd top tomorrow. I think come flip time, I'm gonna need a bigger boat! Lol
I'll just use my hedge clippers and level things out. I've done it before with excellent results. I took 10" off the top of my entire room.

Girls are starting to really grow now. Big change in the last 2 days. As you can see, I have my hoods about 1.5' from canopy top. Haven't seen any issues with it.

Looks like these are gonna be some big ass girls come flip time. Still have a good 4 weeks to go. No issues still. No nutes (ffof soil), do give them 3ml/5gal of osa28, and 2x sweet since potted. Big ass fan leaves on the darlins net.

Camera is set at 4k light filter. Love this damn phone.

6 more days all the veg girls will get a 100% feed. I really don't want to feed them, after I do, they grow a little too much. I'm already anticipating them growing a bit too large when I flip.

The girls got a 100% feeding tonight. I ran out of water (had to water all my.plants), so they only got a 50% soaking. I'll hit them again tonight with another feeding. Growth is excellent. I will be topping all the plants to controll the height. I'm 1 week ahead of growth height where I'd like to be. About 2 weeks until flip. Also going to lollipop heavily when I top (clone taking time). Then deciding what to run next cycle.

The 4x chaos under the back light really grew. They caught up to the fast growing 4x darlins net under the middle hood. That's uncommon from my past grows.

I supercropped the entire room. Gong to try a new tek out with these girls. I'm only keeping the mainstream. Should be about 8-12+ per plant. Everything else BUT the fans will be removed. I will still lollipop as usual, fans included. Gonna see if my hypothesis is correct. If a plant doesn't need to focus energy on Larffy crap, it will focus all it energy on growing the flowers it had available and produce bigger buds. If it works, I'll continue to do it this way. If not, oh well. Back to the 25+ stake pots then.

Shaved the ladies legs tonight in prep for the flip this weekend. Going to do another round of cleaning at flip time.

Thoughts of 3x600mh vs 3x315cmh.

The cmh by far killed any and all previous mh grows in 4+yrs. Bigger stalks, bigger fans, faster growth, also much less heat and power costs. Glad I made the change over to cmh in veg.
