Demons 4x315 Cmh Grow

I can adjust my yields by what and how many of a particular strain I run. My cannatonic 4 cbd strain doesn't even come close to what my gg4 puts out. It would be interesting to see what a heavy weight like gg4 gets like

New pic

All the girls seem to be loving the light. No issues. This is day 31 from flip. Last pic is chaos by seed pac. One of my personal favorites. The tall one in the 2nd pic is Mob boss. Had her in a fabric pot (HATE fabric pots!). Then put her (fabric pot and all) into a 4.7gal plastic pot. Bish stretched a bit. I gently bent (not sc, bend over) the tops to save height.

No, everything is on a 67-69 day flower run, then in 2 to 3 days after harvest, I flip (move rooms).

The girls are coming along nicely. Gently bent over my Mob boss tops. Damn girl was growing taller than I wanted. Nice bud sites forming. Hard to tell if better than the hps runs. Looks better, but could be the placebo effect.

Last nigjt was h20 and terpinator night (20ml/gal).

One thing I'm certain of, I'm not getting the stretch I used to get. I'll give a final ruling at the end of week 3.5. But so far, it's about 20% less stretch.

Demon @DemonTrich Concerning the lack of stretch you are noting, do you reckon it is due to the improved spectrum you are getting from your cmh setup. With a fuller complete spectrum maybe the plants arent stretching and reaching for what they crave and now the cmh's are addressing this ? Just thinking out loud. Nice setup you have BTW. :)

Not sure. I'll need at least 2 to 3 runs to have any diffinative comparable results. Veg looks very happy, as does flower.

Today's day 42 from flip. So far growth seems to be on par with 600hps, minus the light penetration. Seems the 315 would be a scroggers set up of choice. Frost and smell are very known in the room. Glad I have a new scrubber.

5th pic down, only fan leaf on the plant, or room even, that looks like this.

Anyways get to the pics

@DemonTrich beautiful room bro. I am building out a new room and am considering putting up 8 x 315w vs. 6 x 1k. From what I've been told by some dudes seriously in the know, hitting 1+gpw is easily attainable with these things. I just sold out my half of a 10kw HPS room, and am looking to save some coin as I am getting married later this year and that's putting a huge dent in my pocket.

Excited to see how the rest of your run goes!

How much cooler do the cmh run compared to HID MH/HPS bulbs. I'm having a hard time finding facts/numbers on this. A typical 1000 w hps or MH bulb generate approx 3400 btus. How much cooler would a 630 cmh run compared to a typical 600 w MH. Is cmh tech really going to show a substantial cost savings in hvac costs???

Can anyone point me to some solid data on comparing these techs for cost savings analysis

I belive the heat will be slightly higher on a 630 compared to a 600 but it's the weight that can be pulled that is making them look impressive. I've been doing a little digging around and I have found a 630 foot print is 1.5sqm compared to a 1.2 from a 600 and the reason for this sudden increase from such a small amount of watts is the way the 2 x 315s work allowing for a much better light spread. I'm looking into getting 1 very soon I'm just waiting on 1 more price to come in and I'm guna give it a go. The fitting I'm choosing is the dimlux 630 simply because I like the gadgets I can get to go with it. And did I forget to mention there gold so pimp factor in the groom is maintained :)

Hate to redirect you guys to another forum, head over to icmag. There are currently 2 huge cmh threads. 1 by rives and 1 by hammerhead (iirc). A TON of useful info thru the many pages and pages and pages.

Since it's winter, I don't know how much usage my ac runs. I was running 1800mh and 1800hps (3600w total), now it's 915cmh in veg and 1260cmh in flower (2175w cmh total). Saving 1425w of usage now swapping over to all cmh.

I did source a raptor (iirc) that has a dual mogul socket. Put 1x930 bulb and 1x940 bulb in each hood. May cost slightly more that a 630 setup, BUT you can have different 2 bulbs in each hood.

Looks great @DemonTrich! Finishing building up a new room this week that will have 4 630 lec's and 12 gg4's. I have done a few experiments with these cmh bulbs and am nothing but impressed!
