Demons 4x315 Cmh Grow

I did source a raptor (iirc) that has a dual mogul socket. Put 1x930 bulb and 1x940 bulb in each hood. May cost slightly more that a 630 setup, BUT you can have different 2 bulbs in each hood. What do you mean? A LEC and an HPS?

No, put a 3k and a 4k bulb in the same hood. Best of both worlds and better than a 630 1 bulb setup. Will cost a bit more, but better light.

Dude. I am in talks right now with sourcing that exact light. Shipping is a bitch. I got my PI for the sample last night. They'll definitely do two samples if you wanna split the shipping....that 4000k spectrum looks impressive

I use only big kahuna hoods. I run 7 of them, 4 flower, 3 veg. Large hood, adjustable light socket, I can have my plants closer, and adjust the socket according so I don't burn the girls, and I can adjust the light spread this way as well. My flower room is 8x12. The 4 hoods I have 3" between each hood, and 6" to the length sides.

I'm good on gear. I have 2 spare 4k and 2 spare 3k bulbs, and 2 spare ballasts.

One of what?

Growershouse.com is where I bought all my gear from, minus the hoods. Ask for Jose.

I have spares/backups of everything. I can almost set up a clone (lol) of my existing grow setup at another location w/o setting foot in a Hydro store. Minus hoods and 315 bulb adapters, I'd have to buy those.

If you talk to Jose, he'll give you a deal. They have bulb, adapter, ballast deals all the time.

I forgot to take a pic of the girls tonight. All is looking fan-fucking-tastic (yes, I just said that). I've been getting Purple sugar leaves and colas since week 7.5. Now that I've dropped my temps, the colors are even more pronounced. This is on my darlins net, chaos, gg4, mob boss, mob fuck strains all under the hoods. I can get colors just by dropping temps, but imo, the cmh just adds to the beauty.

Temps are now at 70-72* day, 65-67* night. Ppm still at 500. Harvesting next Thursday. At harvest, and when I'm filling up.my dry racks, I'll have an idea of the 315cmh vs 600mh runs in the past. So far, LOVING it!

Going to do some new major lollipopping and new grow tek this next run. No, absolutely ZERO larf. If it's not a big main cola, it's getting chopped off. Shooting for 8-16 per pot.

@DemonTrich i see you said you are using the socket adaptors for cmh. Have you seen any electrical problems with them? I would love to swap my verts for cmh bulbs just a little skeptical of an adaptor since i dont wanna burn the house down haha

No probs at all in about 10 weeks so far. Some guys are having issues with the socket cord length. Some ballasts can only strike a 6' cord with out any problems. Ic mag has all the info on what ballasts have these issues. With the he prism ballasts, philips bulbs, htg 15' mogul socket, and adapters in 7 hoods, all running perfectly.

Pics from tonight. 6 days until harvest. Had to cut down my cannatonic 4 cbd hp cut tonight. I forgot she doesn't like being ran past 58 days or she throws some nanners. The cannatonic 4 will be the last pic.

Still seems to be on par if not slightly above than the 600s.

Looking great @DemonTrich! I must confess you were one of the main reasons i decided to try out these cmh lights. This week i finally plugged in my first real cmh room with 4 of the sunsystem 630 lecs. Holy crap it is bright and the plants look very happy! Your rooms look very healthy, full and efficient. Thanks for the inspiration bud!

Much appreciated. I may not be a super long time grower, but (imo) I do pretty well. Still need to learn my deficiencies, how to treat them, and a few other tricks of the trade. Stay tuned for my next flower run thread. Going to hammer down on what I'm allowing the plant to grow. Absolutely no larffy crap. Big colas only.

Also, my water temp miss 69*f. Not sure if it helps, hurts, ect.

Awesome sounds like a plan. Ill be watching. Yeah i definitely agree pruning is probably more necessary when talking about the penetration of a 315 watt cmh bulb vs a 1000watt hps. I mean yours look awesome but i like to put a trellis on so my canopy ends up pretty dense. Im planning on doing alot of pruning on mine. When done right i cant say i have ever hurt my yield pruning just get bigger buds that make trimming ALOT easier. Keep up the good work demon! Ill be creepin haha.

Shooting for 8-16 colas, and just the top colas. I'm still 1 week from this. I have a 5x15' trellis net, but since I grow 4-8 strains, not all stretch the same. So would be hard to have a flat canopy. Plus I'm afraid I spend 1hr setting up the net, only 2 weeks later cutting it out, and having to stake them.

Yeah its hard to do with multiple strains. Im trying to stick to 1 strain per room but i have 3 rooms so i can still have a variety. From my experience 2 layers of trellis is the key. One layer branches just end up failing over. But its not always the best option for everyone.
