Low and slow, anything with THC in it will work. You don't want to degrade the THC by high heat. A light simmer works vest for me.

Awesome... slow and steady was the course. Used a electric hot plate.. worked well...

I believe it is 240f for optimum
I always turn my trim into coconut oil
you can cook with it, bake with it, eat it straight up, or....rub it on sore joints or muscles

Good to know, I wanted to learn how to make a salve. I didn't know it was the same as edibles lol.
You guys got me motivated to make some medibles.

you can turn it into a complete salve by adding bees wax and what ever oil you want
like say mint or lavender or whatever

I can give you the complete recipe for the oil and to make a stable salve as well

the oil will hit you hard.....I put the oil in capsules and freeze for eating and then use the remaining for rubbing on my knee and foot
I never really cook with it when I can just pop a pill

I just get the #2 capsule and fill it to the top
and cap it

as for aromatherapy
if you have a holistic/nature store where they sell things like organic soap, oils, dry foods, holistic vitamins like wormwood and whatnot.....they will have essential oils
they will be in tiny dark brown vials
whom ever works at the place will be able to tell you

you can google like holistic/natural health food store and your area and it will tell you

the one by my house literally carries everything from the oils to the wax to the lecithin(which is the most important for fast absorption) to the coconut oil
along with every vitamin and mineral and healthy food and drink you can buy
along side healing crystals ....you name it
