Well tent is cleaned out and bleached.. hung the girls in it to dry. I'm in trouble tho. RH is 35% in the house. It's colder than a well diggers ass outside so my heat just zaps any humidity. .. I put a wet towel in front of a fan in the tent to try to create some humidity...
Guess I could run the shower for a few on real hot to try to bring up the humidity.
The basement has about 50% rh but it's only about 40 degrees down there. Not for sure if 70 degrees and 35% rh is better than 40 degrees and 50% rh? ?? How cold is too cold to dry herb? What's more important Temps or humidity???
Some pretty nice colas... I see half peasy out of these 3 easy..

Well put my fan speed controller on my exhaust and slow it down to low. That brought the rh up to 40% in the tent. I'm like thinking to myself. . The buds are gonna put off rh, I just need to extract it slower to maintain a higher rh. Well we will see if that works lol..

Hey bro put a big pot of boiling water on and it will raise your home humidity. Keep an eye on your humidity Guage and stop adding water and turn off once there.
I do this occasionally if it's too dry.
It's not permanent because your house soaks it up too. But it helps on those harsh days.

So I put them all in rooter plugs last night. Got 1 peeking up at me tonight. This is a Sour Urkle.
So far the sour D genetics seem to be cracking and popping ahead of the GSM genetics...
Since I am new to genetics I really don't know much back ground on the 2 s(sp)? genetics...
Maybe Sour D is known to be a heartier plant than GSC... @Wisher619

Just making observations really as everything at the moment is doing great... kinda get to compare the Sour D cross with the GSC cross...
What do you think I will find as difference as they grow out and mature...

as for the RH or Temp
to me RH is much more important
also...when you have a deal where the RH is that low....DO NOT WET TRIM YOUR BUDS
just cut them and hang them.........the leaves will protect them and slow down the dry process
dry to fast and yo wish will smell like wet grass for ever
it looks like you haven't really trimmed them so those sugar leaves and whatnot will cup over the buds and protect

Nope I only trimmed fan leaves for the most part. And hung them straight up.

it went well
I am in the really slow process of drying since we are storming so the RH is in the 70's
this lemon candy smellin strain is the frostiest and stickiest shit I have literally ever seen in my 20+ years
never have I ever seen something that is so caked that you cant even see the bud under it
and as it is drying if you touch you cant even get the sap off with ISO
it is like fucking tree sap bro
I dried a little piece of pop corn
shit made my heart jump out of my chest for about 15min
then I started to feel melty
it also amplifies sounds and colors for me
as in everything becomes extremely vivid colors and sounds.....music makes me trip because I can hear every single intricate sound
like amplified
it is almost like a real mild version of shrooms
seems like a keeper in the old stable

I am at 49% now and I have to re-wet towel every 8 hrs to maintain.. Kinda getto some would say, but i make due with what i have, and thats my brain... get yourself a few of the closet boxes from Home Depot
they have a metal rod inside to hang hangers
they are I believe 12 bucks
the cardboard will regulate the humidity so if your flowers are 70% the cardboard will slowly bring them down very controlled
