The last time I bumped her up and ppm rose. I don't remember what ph was that time. But when I cut it with a couple gal of ro it was right at 6.1 so it must have been lower but pretty close.

I set this one at 800. Lol you got me thinking and had to check. This change is on its third day she's drank about half the water about 3+ gal. She dropped from 810 to 735. Ph kinda spiked compared to where its been. She was just at 6.6, up .5 or .6. I lowered her to 5.8 just now.

Well Idk. If she wasn't eating wouldn't the ppm be jumping. I was told when I started that you want the ppm to stay constant as the water level drops. Am I wrong in that thinking?

no she's fine
yeah you wanna keep it constant....as in you keeping it constant but if she is drinking a gallon a day but only dropping about 75ppm means she is drinkng h2o more then the nutes....which is perfectly fine....they do there thing....

Im glad you guys touched on that topic. My gal is drinkin about a half gallon a day and ppm drops aroun75 to 100 and if I add say a half of teaspoon of some FF Grow Big she totally is perky for a couple days. How low is too low for ppm during transition?

It's all strain dependant. Some might have you at 500ppm other may have you at 800 or more. There's no set recipe. Like mine is drinking even more. Ppm actually rose by the time she finidhed 6gal. As you can see the ppm actually lowered after about 3 gal. But finishing the last three she rose. I'm guessing she didn't like what was left over. I just did a change and and but her right back at same level. Cause I'm pretty sure I got her teetering on my sweet spot. I think I'm dealing with some mg issues still. This us the first grow in years that I haven't had bud candy in there and I think that is what gives me the mag I need. I almost never have mag issues in ro water, and I think the budcandy is why.

so to answer your question more specifically we would need to know what your starting ec is......so in this scenario where lets say you are running 2.0 ec.....and that is what your girls like........I wouldnt let them drop below 1.0 ec before I changed the res....IMO I would never bump the res with more nutes......just keep topping off with water until your ppms/ec reaches about 50% from start and then do a res change......but adding nutes can be dangerous......I know alot of people do it...but that is when the girls have drained the res and the nutes by about 50% in like 3 days so they will bump the nutes back to 100 along with the water.....and then change with the next drop......

lookin good brother.....so you are having mg issues? yeah I run sweet by botanicare.....people think it is some kind of sweetner....well I gues in a sense....but it is actually a Mg Fe S suppliment.......what are the issues lookin like.....the one leaf you showed.....is it climbing up the plant??

When I say bump I mean at change. And all get a pic of the leaves.... As we speak I'm looking and all the bad leaves are on one branch. It's one that got bent and cracked accidentally. It's the one with the yoyo on it to hold it up. As I look at other leaves that have a lil bit of burn I think it's from that spike a week or two ago.
