Thanks MiMed.
It dawned on me today that I've got 7 strains in there in 2 different stages of growth right now, using both hugo blocks as well as a few fabric pots with crutons and a couple with proterra... and ppm/ph meters that are close to 3 years old. Probably not the smartest way to start dabbling in hydroponics but here we are. lol. To say dialing in this grow has been tricky would be an understatement.

I'm actually the most pleasantly surprised with the cheese. It came out of left field honestly, and is proving to be one of the most productive plants in the room. And finding a good cheese strain that has that characteristic growth pattern of clustered spires and dank, pungent cheesy smell has been a challenging search for me. This is looking like it could be the one.

I am quite jeolous if you find an exceptable cheese or skunk. I havent even bothered to try. Nothing called cheese or skunk has come close. Some of the old motarebel strains bring the nasty funk. The Herijuana crosses come to mind.

Faak me too man. I've been popping cheese and skunk#1 seeds, trying clones and even dispensary weed for a couple decades with pretty much no luck finding that classic funk I remember from the 90's. But this lady has it, its unmistakable. Cheesy is the only word to describe it.

I actually bought these seeds on a whim because they were cheaper than dirt and my buddy knows the breeder and highly recommends his gear. Apparently he takes his breeding stock out to like F9-F10 before crossing anything. Hes a true breeder, and now I'm a believer. Stoked that I still have half a dozen seeds of this.

Here is the description of it. I was honestly expecting something different based on the parentage, did not expect to see such classic UK cheese attributes. Mainly since they're so rare. Terrible pics on the website though... Doesnt do it any justice lol.

Real blueberry was not so far from the putrid rotting flower smell of the original skunk.

Nope, you're right it wasnt. Honestly I think it's a brilliant cross. This makes me want to try BB's cheese surprise though, that's for sure.

I know.. lol I have that problem too. I've got dozens of varities waiting to get put through testing and I just keep popping newer ones that catch my eye.

I do. It's not much more than 4x T5's in a 2x4x5' area. But it's a spot to keep plants vegging long enough to take cuttings from. I can usually take a dozen moms up to wee 6 or so of veg before I run out of space in here. The room air just circulates with the flower room air.

This is it now with moms of the Dragon cheese, Jordan's kush, forbidden zkittlez, pre-98 Bubba, Platinum cookies and Violator kush. God has been officially dropped from the lineup. It's not bad, but it's not a keeper. Honestly I dont think Jordan's kush will be either. The dragon cheese is the tall one and is the same age as the other two behind it half its size.

Here it is out of the mom chamber to give you an idea of scale, this thing grows like stink.

Always to runoff to be sure the whole pot is saturated but those plants are way too early for that pot.

What are they in, promix? FFOF? what is that?

Either way, right after transplant I'd apply about a quart or so of water in a ring around the inside edge of the pot, not near the stem. Just for the first watering to encourage the roots to grow out. After that I'd water to runoff each time. But the frequency depends on the media being used.

Well im positive we have discissed this. You have to follow @Dirtbag method he posted above with the big pot. If you saturate like i said it will likely stay wet for too long. Not bad. Just not ideal in my opinion.

I haven't personally ran their strains because I tend to stay away from skunky strains, but friends of mine love The Nature Farm's Skunk crosses. Carrion Flower and Cheddar Skunk V2, specifically.

Thanks for the tip. Others have posted around good reviews too.

I still dont expect anything near what I remember. I started smoking on 80’s outdoor skunk and in the 2000’s the skunk 6 which was grown in colorado mountains indoor.

I still have not had anything close to either and i dont believe more breeding can ever recreate it. Thats a pipe dream in my opinion.
