Thanks Dan, your plants look great. Yeah the stretch is a bitch in small space. I broke about 8 inches off one of mine the other day trying to bend it. I duct taped over the hole and the plant is still getting too big. I might try some of that Humboldt County Bushmaster next time.

I guess Bushmaster is out (discontinued). Maybe just get some super short growing indo. I was also thinking of installing a drain system so I don't have to take them out and then scrogging it. (next year)

Yes same problem for me having to take them out to empty runoff, they intertwine and makes me a kite nervous that I'm going to snap a branch... Bent one over the other day and didn't snap it but kinked like a hosepipe... Hoping that it will survive..

Thanks rmoltis. For the cabinet I used 3 sheets of 15/32 osb and about 5 2x4's. The osb is around $10 a sheet now and the 2x4s about 3.50 ea. I already had some white Killz paint. Anyway what I'm getting at is it can be done pretty cheap and it should last a very long time. I would go a little taller if I built another one. If you look at it in my garage it kind of just looks like a regular tool cabinet which is nice because I can open the garage and not have to worry about passers-by seeing a big tent setup which a lot of people might recognize. I call it the Bud King :)

If anyone's wondering about the two insulated boxes on top they are for cooling my beer while it ferments. I put the carboy inside and a frozen bottle of water. I brew a pretty mean chocolate porter.

Hmmm seems to be the general consensus among us diy box growers... Wish we'd built taller! :D the NL#5 was nice, but think I harvested a little early, needed to give the buds a chance to fatten up more! But still some ok smoke, I'll try and find pics

Time for the weekly update. Plant #1 (GG4) front and center day 34. I hit her hard today with some liquid Cool Bloom 0-10-10 hoping she will swell up. (10ml/gal + her regular canna A+B) I hope it's not too much. Plant #'s 2,3, and 4 (gg4) back center and two on right, are on day 25. Plants 5 and 6 power plant day 13. #1 has mostly stopped stretching, but still tying down the other 3 gg's. Smells and looks great!

Just a quick update. Buds are swelling up a little. It's been hard to keep the temps up. I noticed the other day that it never even got above 70 inside the box. The power plants are starting to show some flowers. Pics were taken sat 1-28 which was - GG front center day 41, other three GG day 32 and Power Plants (left) day 20.

Sup Farm. I've got a big update this week. I've been busy on another project. I decided to go ahead and build a 2nd cabinet with a few improvements. Its quite a bit larger than the Bud King. I call it the Bud Beast. I bought the wood on Monday and worked on it every day after work. I finally finished last night. Some Pics.

This thing really is a beast. I had to lay it down to do some work on the bottom and I could barely pick it back up by myself. Dimensions are 3' by 4' by 8' high. I probably won't have to worry about stretching anymore.

They have a little more room now so they're not all squished. I like to think this makes them a little happier if that's possible. I hooked up my exhaust to both boxes so now I have a good place to dry my nugz without smelling up the neighborhood.

So GG4 #1 is at day 48, the other 3 gg's are on day 39, and the power plants are on day 27. I plan on doing a 1 week flush starting next friday so 2 weeks until first plant harvest. ;) I also just pulled the trigger on a 315 cmh light for the new box. Hopefully it arrives quickly. I will probably still use the led's for veg., or maybe even some supplemental lighting.
