talking tolerance breaks, do you take them? how often and how long.
i completed 5 days yesterday morning and ended the day baked af ✌️ 🇿🇦
Crazy shit but I find that the less I smoke the higher I get when I do smoke..I use to be a wake and bake guy and puff everytime I got the chance now days I might just take a hit or two during the day But when I'm home with my shoes off....in the course of a night 2-3 bones

I worked as an electrician for many years and on every job site we would find an out of the way place to have regular "safety meetings " 😁. Electricity is very dangerous so we needed a "safety meeting " every couple of hours.

I’m a builder, I smoke weed daily. Never on the job. If my guys drink or smoke on the job, they have no job. If any subs do, they will be gone immediately. I pay a lot of money for liability and workman’s comp. Don’t need any unnecessary problems on the job. Plenty of time after work to burn.

Since I use it medicinally, every day. The daily uptake matters for me the way SSRI's have to be taken a couple weeks to become effective because it has to reach an accumulation. Whatever remains in the body after the buzz wears off and is picked up for the next 30 days with drug screening is what I believe is giving me the greatest benefit. Seretonin regulation and inflammation management. Getting high for a couple hours is just a recreational bonus I get out of it.

I think I've been having trouble with cannabis hyperemesis syndrome (CHS), so I need a tolerance break when the symptoms appear. A few days to a week of a break is enough to make the symptoms go away for a while. The best part is the highs are better after a break.

I have a buddy that works at one of the stop and shop giant distrabution centers they have like 60 people flying around on forklifts with pallets full of food if you get hurt or have a accident before you can say workmen comp they have you peeing in a bottle come up pos + fired good luck collecting anything..They pay thousands for insurance.

As a former auto mechanic I too am familiar with the need for multiple safety meetings per day. The food service industry is very unsafe, with multiple types of threats constantly coming at you, anything from sharp knives, to hot ovens and grill surfaces. Not to mention those pesky food borne illnesses like salmonella. Yeah very dangerous, lots of safety meetings required.

I’m in a similar position. I don’t smoke every day anymore, and vaping feels noticeably lighter overall. CBD-focused options can be a good middle ground when the goal is relaxation without feeling overly spaced out.

Over time, I’ve also become more interested in exploring new approaches, including some basic DIY and learning more about different setups and formulations. Reviewing resources such as ecigone.co.uk can be useful for understanding what’s available and how preferences tend to evolve. This shift seems fairly common as people adjust their habits over time.

Did a break recently told my self 1month.managed not 5 but 7 days hahah instantly smoked a little ball of rosin only difference since I was focused on feeling it I felt every stage slowly come eye pressure no high head buzzing no high then bam high.high felt same but my skill to manage it was gone I was a lot more lost and confused.after a week of smoking I feel like I got back to normal.

But after a break I would not like to drive.

I thought I was developing this also.
Then I went in an interval diet where I only eat from noon to 6.
Cleared it right up.
A week ago I had a bowl of cereal at midnight due to an acid stomach.
Next morning blah.

In the middle of my own break right now. I had been vaping for a few years, smoking weed routinely for many years (like 20) - just randomly decided to break from all smoking for a bit.

About 2 months with no vape (after like 6 - 5ml juul pods per week) about a month with no weed (previously around a half gram a day)

Not sure what triggered it, just woke up - didnt have either on hand and didnt feel like going out to get them.

Weird couple days to start - sleep schedule was all jacked up, tired all day - in bed by 8:00pm. I think it was good to do both at the same time, complete brain confusion made it easier?

But feelin pretty much normal now and lookin forward to my next harvest in a couple weeks.

I have daily uptake and I don't do gobs, usually bong hits after dinner and right before bed as my main medication windows but I still occasionally get greenouts. If you're unfamiliar, its that hard nausea that hits as a strong buzz is first setting in, and all you want to do is put your head down with your eye closed for about 15 minutes, and then life is good. Most people don't get hit that hard unless they do edibles, but a potent smoke will do it too. I notice it most with "entourage effect," when I'm loading a couple different strains together. If I hit my Durban and then follow it up with my Ice Cream Cake, I'm definitely greening out. 🤣

Had that last nite. Scraped up the scraps ( California Orange and White Buffalo) from the rolling tray. Added a bit of kief, ( same two strains) then a piece of temple ball on top.

Two hits and it was like being slapped up side the head. Things got fuzzy, a little blurry, bit of tunnel vision. Hell yeah..!! 🤪

I'm a custom tile installer by trade. I've been a daily smoker for over 40 years now. I might miss a few days here and there, but only because I haven't gone out and grabbed any. Honestly doesn't bother me at all. As for smoking at work, I learned a long long time ago, it's a royal pain in the ass to walk to the wet saw and think, "Was that 5-7/8 or 7-5/8?" The other thing is, if I smoke in the morning, I have to do the same in a few hours, and a few hours more, and so on. It's been probably 2 decades or longer since I partook at work. Weekends now, that's a whole different ball game!

Yeah I want a clear head during the day because I gotta talk to people and it doesn't help when I forget what I was saying mid sentence all the time or I can't remember a specific date something was done because of the time distortion tricks on the mind. I'm almost old enough for that to start happening from early senility. I turn 60 next month. Shit, when did that happen????

lol. I hear ya. I turn 58 this coming fall and wonder the same thing. Spent my younger days playing in technical death metal bands and touring quite a bit. Seems like it was just a few years ago, not a few decades ago. Strangely enough, playing music is sort of like growing pot. It's a great hobby, but don't plan on making a living at it!!! 😂🤣
