So I took the advise and flushed my plants potted in croutons. Pots were jacked but the skywalker the only one showing a problem was the least screwed up. I flushed with ro 18 ppm and ph was 6.3 run off from the skywalker ppm 1500 ph was 5.9 but the diablo and chem run off ppm 2550 and ph dropped to 5.5 really screwed up right? Those are the biggest girls I got, Gave them a good flush. Flushed till ppm was under 400 and ph 6.1 than watered down some nutes from my rez to 700 ppm. I have to do a rez change in a couple of days. After I do the change. What ppm do you guys advise I give these plants in croutons. I give my e&f table 1700 to 1800 no problem but those plants are in hydroton. thanks

I have been trying to learn as much as possible before I make any attempts at growing. Whenever I read about flushing I always see it recommended to use a diluted solution. I believe the most common was 1/4 strength. One of the books I was reading said this works better because the solution is........I forget the exact wording and I don't want to state it wrong, but as I understood it the diluted nute solution works better to flush because it creates a more soluable solution for the excess salts to mix with.

I see you use RO water at 18ppm to flush. Is there any specific benefit to this? Is it only with certain deficiancies? Is it a specific strain that likes it this way?

I can not wait to have some plants as beautiful as yours. I'm halfway through the process of building an underground room, but also getting a divorce so I am going to have to fill it all back in and start over when I get a new home.

thank you and the only reason I flushed was to remove excess salt buildup. I was just pointing out how low the ppm was going in and how high it was coming out. when I do the final flush I give them atleast 150 to 200 ppm just base foods. I can`t see totally starving them in the last week when they`re still packing on weight. Maybe I`m wrong but works for me.pm me underground if you want

ya those numbers seem high to me too forsure. I use to run lucas formula and kept my ppm`s at 1000 ppm 1200 max!! I had a issue with lucas formula and og`s. I switched up went with my hydro shops schedule(H&G) with other additives. Running way higher ppm`s.did a change last night and ppm is 1850 for the 6th week.Now thats high but they look like this

So has anyone ever heard of or have seen a plant that makes a couple of seeds here and there but there are no males and dam if I can find a banana anywhere wtf is that? My partner up north said that some strains do that but he says this with explanation at all. just his 10 yrs of experiance but I actually come here for my 411 because here you find out why or at minimum get pointed in a direction to find out why. Does this really happen or is this a herm?Totally lost here because I have only been using clones or cuts for a few runs before that always seeds were used???????

she looks a little over watered/over nuted imvho. ph should be 5.5-5.8 in rw too. so maybe some micors locking out like ca.mg. id give a nice flush with 1/4 nutes and 5.4 ph to balance your medium. id stay under 1400 until the issue resolves itself too. try not to let rw get too dry either, salt builds fast in it.

i notice with toxicity yellowing occurs more on new growth then older stuff, peace, og

Thanks OG I never really had alot of success with RW totally my fault of coarse. I only have a few plants in RW croutons the rest of my garden is in hydroton. Ph is always 5.8H&G very stable

I had same thing happen. I ct explain why either.


friend was running grape ape and kept getting seeds. Clone only strain. I grew exact same cut. Guess what one run maybe 3 seeds. Strange.

Did another full run. no seeds. Gave the cut to others, no seeds.

I do no know why either, Maybe the clone was weak or sick?

He does work during lights off and turns on a light during the dark cycle. Dont know if this is why he would get seeds. Others run he does well.

My first run I may have done the same. Was my 1st grow. Later grows not seeds. But I was more anal about dark cycle and every detail.

My skywalker's finally perked up. They needed some food. Probably due to my inexperience with soil.

Ya Lead I have to have a herm in there but I was in the room for 8 f*****g hrs last night. Can`t find shit. I know what they look like. I use to herm plants all the time when I was brand new to this in 92. I use to go into the room turn the lights on just to show someone. week or 2 later bananas. I had no clue.lol so ya man was in there all fricken night. Now is it possible a plant will shoot a couple nanas and thats it. no more just enough to piss me off.lol I have some chemdogg from seed I`ve been watching but they show no nanas,I`m just gonna start spraying them with water once a day or every other day. I`ve read from seamaiden that water kills pollen so if theirs any I need to get whats left.Well gonna have some diablo og x ? I rather not have em
