OMFG, I've been waiting so long to post this grow report here! I just harvested my second ever grow, first grow from seeds, all baked under a plain-jane 357 Magnum LED unit, with a little supplemental coverage from a Kessil 350 Deep Purple. You'll all have to wait for the official weigh-in, as the meds are currently in the dry cycle.
Here are the details:
Tangerine Dream - feminized, from Barney's Farm
357 Magnum LED, original model
Kessil 350 Deep Purple for supplemental coverage
Supersoil organic soil grown in Airpots
Exclusively watered with rain water, with occasional soaks with actively-aerated compost tea - vortex brewer
4x4x8 tent from Secret Jardin
SCROG method
Custom built drip irrigation controlled a photo-sensor activated ON-OFF timer
Basic can fan with carbon filter for odor control
Now for the juicy bits:
Initial set up with some tomato plants keeping the babies company -
My first born:
Little teens. I thought I had a weakling, so I decided to give the more vigorous one the full power of the Magnum. I would soon learn not to underestimate the little guy:
Training time. The Airpots proved extremely useful for tie-down points:
Good god the stretch on this strain was hard to deal with. I had to lop one of the heads. I did not enjoy that task, but I could go no higher:
Let the flowering commence:
The obligatory bud porn:
And finally, the day of harvest. The two colas in front of that guy's face are the stars of the grow. Both from the same "sickly" plant:
I hope you enjoyed the show. I'll offer a smoke report if anyone's interested. A few weeks after a proper cure of course. I can't tell you how happy I am with this harvest! LEDs FUGGIN ROCK!!!!!!
