Coming out of a very unusual wet month but the garden and potted plants are still chugging along. We have tomatoes starting, a pumpkin forming, greens coming out every couple days or so... The peas are starting to flower and I managed to bring the cucumber and squash back to life!

My stumpy stunted corn is starting to flower !!?? Lol

I just put in another row of carrots and a row of yellow and red sweet onions. Two more rows of winter spinach this afternoon and I need to find a way to get mint in around the tomatoes without getting 12' x 4' of just mint next season...

The berry bushes took and are doing well!
The apple I sprouted and planted and mowed ... is doing well!
Strawberries seem happy!

Lol this is all going so well.

Nearly a week's passed since it started getting really warm here my pumpkins squash and cantaloupes have exploded in growth just like most other things.. I have Atlantic giant pumpkins,, my favorite big Max pumpkin their seeds are the bomb.. and new to me some kind of hooligan variety that grows a small decorative pumpkin to give away to friends and family.. green beans, corn, cascadia peas, 36 assorted pepper plants... I prefer the reds myself. Some tomato plants that already have blight LOL..a few artichokes that are having problems from gophers..and a mammoth sunflower variety that crossed with another large variety to make its own unique plant that resembles both parents.. common to grow 6 to 10 pound flower heads.... God I love summer

PEE ON YOUR CORN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously.

Also yesterday i decided im going to do a comparison, Corn thats been getting only PEE as fertilizer, and corn thats now getting fox farms grow big, and fish fertilizer and a lil azomite powder, and some cal-mag cause why not..

also using the same mix on the cantaloupe.

Pictures when its not so god damn hot outside lol

I should have clarified, I mean undiluted full on give your corn 100% PEE!

The rest of the veggies can get it too but those should be diluted prolly.. corn tho seems to love it full strength.. sick lil bastards those stalks are.

I tried that with beans and what was it.. PEAS! One year, I think i over fertilized cause the beans and peas grew up the stalks of the corn.. Then over .. then over some more.. Then up the fucking fence... lol

so yeah never did that again :P

crazy to think your starting to get frost and we are quickly approaching the hottest summer on record... certainly recent memory with temps in the 90's everyday for a few weeks....better than -30F

Did my morning check, either pumpkins or cucumbers are poking the soil almost all the spots i planted are coming up, It said to sow 3-4 seeds in 1 spot.. So i did.. and now all 3-4 seeds are coming up!! It didn't say what to do next! :P Do i leave them? cull them? I guess i could leave em there just vines right?

cpl more days and i'll get some new photos up, So hawt lately the corn loves it tho, Almost all the ones in my plot have 1-2 off shoots growing!!! hoping to pull at least 1 extra ear per stalk!!

I think back in 2018 i was able to harvest 2 per stalk least what the bear and birds didn't get.. hopefully this year be even better!
