I don't think they effect the flavor but in my opinion you really shouldn't need them unless you live in a very dry climate. Once the rh in jar stops rising above 60-65% I stop burping and the buds stop getting drier. If your jars are never sealed then it is unlikely that the buds are getting the best cure. I used to go by feel too, after I started using the hygrometers I realized how off my feel really was. I can't stress enough how much of a difference close monitoring of the temp and rh inside the jars during curing made.By chance do you think that the boveda 2 way humidity packets change the flavor? I buy the 62% ones and I burp for a week or two depending on feel then I never actually “seal” the jar if that means anything more than turning the lid tightly on it. This plant is twice my biggest plant that I have done haha so good to know ppm could have been a large factor, I was at like 2300 ppm at one point. Now I just watch for what she wants more or less

Awesome! Just to prepare you, expect a little bit of scary looking brown stuff on the roots after using this. Its nothing to worry about, I believe I read on Great White's website that it is just neutral material that helps preserve the benificials. I've found the more root mass I have, the quicker the brown material dissipates, so you may not even notice it until you use it on much younger plants.
Fuck yeah man thanks for the heads up, love hearing this kind of stuff from people who use it, I have also read that so I was a little prepared but the stuff I read was from years ago so wasn’t sure if it was even relevant anymore but I prolly would have tripped and yanked it immediately. How much do you notice it affect your ph?Awesome! Just to prepare you, expect a little bit of scary looking brown stuff on the roots after using this. I grow dwc hydro like you and use it about every other feed, never had any issues mixing it in with my nutes, I would recommend about 5ml of Sweet each time you add the Great White. Use very small amounts of the Great White, less than a tenth of the blue scoop that is in the jar, just a pinch per reservoir. Also beware of opening the jar near any fans or moving air, its a very light powder and will blow everywhere if you are not careful. And how do you apply it? Are you in hydro? Do you add your nutes along with the carbs and then give it a day or two then drop some of this in there? Do you even have to wait after putting in everything else?

That little. On a side note, the most recent thing I learned from this forum and have changed in my own grow is not switching to bloom nutes. I had been using them for years but a few members suggested that the plants still need the same amount of nitrogen in flower and do not necessarily require higher doses of potassium and phosphorus. I can confirm the improvement in my current crop where I have only been using botanicare's pure blend pro grow for veg and flower and I have just started testing megacrop with promising early results there as well. That little amount for 4 gallons? Not a half ish scoop?
I also added the sweet to her new bucket at about 8ml per gal
