Dromada’s dwc 600w cob led

Also got that great white today and added 1/2 scoop to the roots Lol, the instructions say 1 scoop per 10 gallons, I recommended less, and you used more. 🤷‍♂️

Bruh when I say half I mean less than that even I didn’t put much. I didn’t use even half the recommended so how you figure I put more? More than you recommended or more than it does? Lol

The label says one scoop treats 10 gallons, you said you added 1/2 scoop which would treat 5 gallons. Your reservoir may be a 5 gallon bucket but between keeping the water level below the net pot and the water displaced by the roots there is likely less than 3 gallons in there. If you used half a scoop like you said in the first quote than you used 30% more than the instructions call for. I did recommend using even less than the instructions so I was just surprised when you made is sound like you were using even more than Great White's suggested amount, maybe I misunderstood. It wouldn't cause any issues either way, the stuff isnt cheap and I mostly just didn't want to see you waste it and I wanted to make sure I hadn't given you the impression you needed to use so much.

I appreciate that man, think there may have been a misunderstanding, I am not 100% how full it was but it had to be between 1/4 and half on the little included scoop

The brown material that I mentioned you might see earlier keeps the bacteria and fungus in the Great White dormant, mixing it into water before adding to the reservoir will help the beneficials shed this layer and activate quicker than adding it directly to the roots.

Interesting! I have read a bunch that said it can only work if it is directly applied to the roots, maybe hydro is different but when you add it, what is your process? Mix in just a drink cup of water and pour in? Hot cold?

I use 5 gallon buckets to fill my all my reservoirs. I usually give the plants Great White anytime I feed them nutes which is usually every other top off. I like to use room temperature water whenever I add to a reservoir so I always have several buckets that have been filled and waiting 12-36 hours ready to go, this also helps some of the chlorine evaporate since I am using tap water. When I'm ready to feed, first I ph the water in the top off bucket, then I add in all my nutrients (aka Megacrop), a pinch of Great White, 7ml of Aphrodite's Extraction (to feed the beneficials), and I stir until it all looks pretty well dissolved. I have heard of some people dipping their clones in Great White before dipping into gel but the one part of my grow I do keep sterile is my aeroponic cloner, so I have never tried that method.

Nice! Thanks man, all a learning experience, appreciate all your answers, do you think I should drop my micro all together now? That would leave advanced nutes bloom, calmag, terpenez, sweet berry, and now the great white. Currently I believe my npk is 3-3-4

It looks like AN recommends using grow, micro, and bloom all in equal parts throughout the whole grow, I don't see any reason to deviate from that. I would't use the calmag unless you use ro water or start to see signs of a deficiency. The Terpenez I would use as directed, Sweet I would add 7ml for every 1/4 scoop of Great White.

Useful, since dropping the grow I haven’t noticed anything, though I haven’t hit where that really starts showing yet, trying to figure out the npk I should shoot for and if I drop the cal mag too I would be 1-3-4 which is nice too. Does the great white make it more sensitive to anything other than higher res temps?

AN recommends 4-3-8 for the whole grow using their products and the Megacrop I use has a very similar ratio. Great White does not increase any sensitivity, a strong microbial environment will only make your plant more resilient.

Nice good to know, seems like a lot of nitro in that ratio
